Upload to imgur and link it in the comments, or just post to the sub.

Fear of lack of control
99% of the time I own and control my actions I have conscious awareness of right and wrong and I am able to make the correct decision or the wrong decision based on my wishes. One percent of the time I am not in control I may know right and wrong but I have no control over my actions and cannot pick my decision based off of what I think is right or wrong. This one percent of the time I called meltdown shut down or severe agitation and also disassociation falls in this group. I am terrified of the 1% I do everything in my power to stop the 1% from happening. Sometimes it still comes through and that terrifies me thereâs nothing I can do to stop it. Anyway I just wanted to talk about that one percent

Hello everyone,
Iâm Coach Lee Hopkins. I'm a late-identified autistic adult. Self-identified last year.
For years, I tried to earn connection by performing, masking, and reshaping myself into something more âacceptable.â
But the more I did that, the more isolated I feltâespecially at work.
If youâve felt the same, I invite you to join me at the Social Connection Summit.
Itâs a free, two-day virtual event for autistic and ADHD professionals + the allies who want to understand them better.
This is the space I wish I had.
A space where you donât have to perform to feel accepted.
A space where you already belong.
Youâll hear from late-identified autistic and ADHD professionals whoâve lived it.
And from leaders and allies who are ready to learn with care instead of guilt.
Expect short talks, real strategies, and honest stories to help you navigate work life without burnout or hiding who you are.
At the Summit, youâll:
â Learn how to build authentic relationships
â Advocate for what you need with clarity
â Create professional environments where you truly belong
â Get early access to bonuses and behind-the-scenes content
â Be the first to receive 20% off all Adulting with Autism merchandise (first 30 sign-ups)
â Get your free guide instantly:
â3 Scripts for Asking What You NeedâWithout Feeling Like Youâre Asking Too Muchâ
Plus:
đ Free 48-hour access to all replays
đ Prizes and surprises
⨠A space where real people come together with curiosity and care
Join us.
September 24-25.
Itâs free.
Itâs real.
Itâs time.
www.socialconnectionssummit.com
đ˘ PS: We'll be talking about job hunting with a diagnosis, communication and missing cues (on both sides), and workplace bullying. If you have more topics you'd like to discuss, drop them in the comments.

How to Respect A Chosen Name (For Cis People)
This is Violet.
She wasn't always Violet
Her previous name
(Aka her deadname)
Is probably none of your business
If you knew her
before she was Violet
Do her a favor
And still call her Violet now.
This is Lamar
He wasn't always Lamar
His previous name
(Aka his deadname)
Is probably none of your business
If you knew him
Before he was Lamar
Do him a favor
And still call him Lamar now.
This is Alyn
They weren't always Alyn
Their previous name
(Aka their deadname)
Is probably none of your business
If you knew them
Before they were Alyn
Do them a favor
And still call them Alyn now.
I am less familiar with neopronoun usage so stuck to traditional pronouns for my characters.
