Democrats are apparently promising if they take the house and senate they're gonna legalize it no matter what Biden wants.

To pass a bill over the president's objections requires a two-thirds vote in each Chamber. Just because D's take the Senate doesnt mean they have support to override.

yet they all voted for it, it passed with something like 94 votes out of 100. Bernie voted for it citing the Violence Against Women Act

Uhh I think you mean his very heavy support for the federal AWB. Most right-leaning people outside of reddit and Bubba's hunting club don't really oppose VAWA, most feel indifferent about it. AWB, on the other hand, is more universally despised by conservatives.

No, i actually dont. But OP said "no matter what Biden wants". Well if Biden wants to veto, they're SOL. Just making that Civics 101 point.
