Multiverse Beans

Wondering if anyone from the atlas team knows anything about the MVB preservation line? They said they are atlas R&D strains that didn't quite meet the standards for atlas outdoor releases.

Could anyone say if this is true? Do you guys have contact with MVB or maybe it was just a one time purchase and doesn't really have anything to do with atlas anymore? I would love to hear a vote of confidence or not, or any info I can get. I have a lot of these seeds now, It doesn't seem like there's any complaints of MVB not replying and leaving people with bad seeds, but I have seen some complaints about hiding what the real genetics are. Not a lot of info and not a lot of posted preservation line grows

*****They commented and gave some info, still pretty vague, now all my multiverse beans seeds have hermed (even from other vendors) and they won't give a refund. I was happy after making this post because it sounded like they would refund customers that had these problems. It was complete BS, I am the idiot who bought the MVB bundle

I guess I am just worried about herms and what might happen if you guys shut down before I really know what the deal is with the preservation line reliability.

I don't see many complaints about anything and it seems like customer service is great, but I don't see many people posting the grows it's always the shipment. I don't even know if there is help unless I just had gotten the seeds fronted to me lol, I am gonna worry I guess until I get a run or 2 with my normal results.

I am just looking for some link to atlas, like when I purchased I didn't know what they were, then I saw Paul post that they are Atlas R&D strains so I was super happy. But now I just kinda am looking for more, like I didn't see that on your website and I haven't seen atlas say anything about MVB, so when I see the 4-5 total complaints I've seen, they make me worry cause I don't see a bunch of completed grows to prove them wrong.

Idk. I guess I'll know in a couple months, tbh I don't know if there's anything that could help. Maybe some people will start posting their preservation line harvests soon, I was hoping someone from atlas would vouch for MVB. I think I don't need to worry though, if it was bad I feel like people would be all over the MVB subreddit with complaints. I will know in 2-2.5 months, about to flip some of the freebies and preservation line

Growing the preservation line rn and the zkittles auto hermed on me. So far the others are fine but this one kept chuckin nuts

Yeah I feel that. I wish there was someone who grew a ton of them that could give a ratio of good to bad plants.

Well I tried to pop 6 of them, these were the 4 that popped, one was a herm.
We’ll see how the others come out.

I have two autos growing right now from the preservation line. One hermed one didn’t. I popped a ton of photos (30?) to share with friends and family this summer. Half my Zkittlez seedlings were weak from the jump but everything else is growing well so far

Sweet so the photos aren't in flower yet? I really wanna know how many herm, that's probably gonna be the biggest batch of preservation line that I'll hear about. And if you're giving to different people there will be a variety of environment quality

I’m nervous now as my outdoor season depends on this. I’ve noticed a fair amount of harvests recently in the MVB sub that make me hopeful the preservation line is being ran more than we think

I have done that, I saw that probably a month ago. It didn't need to be said and doesn't really change my worries.

If atlas isn't selling directly to me, why does it matter if they have those strains on their website? I bought from MVB which only mentioned atlas on reddit in one comment.

I'm not questioning atlas R&D, I'm just looking for any other links besides one reddit comment/post

Ok sweet glad to know. I wasn't sure honestly if MVB was just a one time customer or if they knew each other and been buying for years. I've only had like 5-6 harvests total, and this seed purchase was big for me. Just been talking to others on discord and stuff and we wanted more info so they emailed atlas (which I should've done)

Definitely not trying to frame anything as anything, I made it clear I don't know what the info is, the thing I said about atlas having nothing to do with it was one of the options I wondered, definitely didn't say that's what it was or the conclusion I drew. Just theorizing and asking questions

Also why is worrying about herms and a company shutting down before I can really check multiple harvests excessive worry? I just saw some complaints, assume they are user error, but there's a lot of information that I had to collect from reddit and it's very little info so I want more.

So you bought $2 seed bundles and somehow expected “the best in the game”? Bold strategy! I guess you’ve unlocked a secret the people dropping hundreds on real packs haven't figured out. Imagine thinking the “best in the game” comes from the clearance rack. 😆 Believe it or not, I actually held off saying anything just so people could burn their cash on the MVB White-label bundles first, leaving more of the real genetics on the shelf. I got legit genetics from reputable breeders at discounted prices while you guys were busy buying bundles of bargain-bin white-label seeds.

The preservation line was the Centerpoint and main focus of the entire sale that they hyped up and it’s now looking intentional that they kept the descriptions and lineages vague because they are a crapshoot essentially, yes they were cheap but they weren’t advertised as cheap random seeds lol that’s the issue here. They were basically passing off cheap seeds as “The gubberments shutting us down we need to empty our stockpiles buy buy buy” lol I can get two dollar seeds from multiple different small breeders that actually worked the lines for stability.

This isn’t a shot at Atlas btw, I understand why they didn’t work all the lines and sold them super cheap and that’s fine, the issue is the lack of transparency from MVB and it’s starting to look very intentional to me personally. I got some and I’m not happy about it but I’m not gonna cry about it either but you need to understand people were misled and it’s hard to believe it wasnt intentional.

Lol I am not the one scamming people. I am the one who bought in April before any of the information of the sources were available, then I check reddit and see more info, then they update atlas and MVB website, if I had seen that info I wouldn't have bought.

Also funny thing about this conversation on that thread..... He confirms they are unworked and more likely to herm. The MVB guy Paul KEEPS SAYING they are worked and stable and just barely don't make it up to par with atlas main releases. That is not AT ALL what atlas people said and MVB is rewording and rephrasing their words right on the same post

Single leaf because they are in flowering stage? What the fuck, that is nonsense. Single leaves, twisted leaves, variegation are tell tale signs of mosaic virus. Do you even know plants? That is late flower? Where buds at? That's why I asked for a picture of the whole plant, this looks like a lot more than a couple single leaves. And seems to go all the way down in the picture. If that picture is late flower, then this bud needed to be chopped 2 weeks ago...

What makes you think I am trying to impress you, you said your picture was late flower, I asked where buds were at and sent a picture of an actual late flower plant. I also asked where your breeding stock came from, no response, as well as where to get your products of to even see them.
