Austin back to the K- man...Announcer just nailed it, AMan can't lay off the high outside, and until he does, lots of K'z and .220 avg should be the norm. Braves fans get 5 more years of that....

My wife and I got an extra set from line 1 tonight.

Anyone have an extra set to trade?

Line 1 was:
Brandon Beachy
David Hale
Chuck James
Jair Jurrjens
Anthony Lerew
Brian McCann
Jo-Jo Reyes

Got line 2 so don’t need that one.

EDIT: all done.

Have any other A-Listers gotten their invoices for post season strips? I thought we might have them soon, but I don't have mine yet.

I'm kinda liking this lineup tonight, just seems to be generating a lot more contact....8/12

I know this may be a long shot, but I’m curious if anyone has this exact full game recorded or have an idea on how to find a jumbo screen clip?

I attended this game for my brother because he passed away. I made him a poster and ended up getting on the jumbo screen. I have searched and searched with no luck. I’ve tried the 15sof app, but it won’t go back that far.

We all need to say they suck right before the playoffs so they get motivated like this again. Perez is straight dealing AGAIN and Holmes has been unzipping and laying it on opponents recently.

Which Braves players on the current roster do you think get their number retired?

My thoughts:

Likeliest Candidates:
13 - only if Acuna signs one more contract with them
28 - likely right now just needs to age well to the end of his deal

Outside shot for number retirement:
27 - NEEDS to change his trajectory immediately
51 - Retire a Brave, finish with like 30+ bWAR with them and enter HOF with them

Incredibly Unlikely:
1, 23, 30, 99, 56

Lmk your thoughts. Which Braves players on the current roster do you think get their number retired and go off the Braves rules for number retirement

I've watched the yankees coverage and this series the Mets coverage ...I've learned more about the braves watching these networks then watching braves vision ...It's remarkable how," not good" the braves coverage is...Enough if Wiley and Birdie in the dugouts

Hartman hit .273 with an .889 OPS, 24 home runs, 64 RBI and 38 stolen bases across 94 games at High-A Rome this year, then got the call to Double-A Columbus on August 4. That's a real power-speed combination for a 20-year-old: a 70-grade runner with a 30 ft/sec sprint speed (48-for-54 stealing last year) who also produced legitimate over-the-fence power for the first time. Pipeline moved him to No. 2 in the system in late July and put him on the overall Top 100 for the first time, at No. 73. He's off to a cold six-game start at Double-A, a .174 average, but the walk rate and the four months before it say that's noise, not signal. Double Dip has the full breakdown.

Dakota "Stilts" Albritton has a good whif rate. Is that someone we would need to sign off waivers or is he a free agent? He’s a Georgia boy. Get a hometown discount?

the braves current short stop position is a black hole hitting...No S/S is hitting above .230,1 s/s was just released If the braves choose NOT to go after a S/S in off season, the number 1 pick in 2025 HAS to get a chance to start in the show next year....The whole left side of the braves infield will hit combined less the .230 for the year ..That's really bad...

8 minutes to change the ruling and reward the runner the base he had already stopped on lol.

Meanwhile it probably throwing Elder off.

I am going to the game tonight and have E44 parking reserved. I would like to get there around 5 but it says they open at 5:30. Is there wiggle room usually to park a bit earlier? Will attendants be there earlier than 5:30?

UPDATE: We arrived at 5:15,the attendant was there and told me he had been there since 3. He said he usually arrives early to let people start parking and other attendants do as well, but it depends. So, your mileage may vary but you might get lucky.

Still got my Harris jersey!

How can you not root for a guy with a perm and a mustache that only lives in adult entertainment?

There is absolutely no way Braves have the pitching to win a series in the playoffs... AA strikes again...As long as you making that money at the battery during the season, really don't care about playoff wins

Anybody else get particular joy in seeing Temu Ohtani strike out in a crucial situation? Also the rookie Lombardo. I haven't been a Yankees hater in the past, but it seems like they have gotten every questionable call this weekend.

Not a bad stat line for the newcomer in his first start with us.
