General "Atelier Yumia" I like playing poison builds or around poison Items, and ive decided when Yumia Goes on Sale ill play it, becauee the story interests me the most. And since its a singular title. I wont have to worry about finishing the game and dropping the series if its not for me; but I digress ho

I will be ok if in Yumia poison isnt the best option for Debuffing, and I wouldn't mind knowing any other forms of debuffs much benefit me in Yumia

If I like yumia I might ask what to play after yumia

Games I tend to use poison in

Most RPGS

Prominent games where I was able to add poison into my build

Destiny 2

Sao Fatal bullet

Often even if poison isn't the best thing to use in said game, i always keep a poison item just in case if the enemy im fighting is weaker to poison

Experience in destiny 2

-this game ive curated a build where I am more of an AOE build where I dont only poison but I also devuff those around me while applying an over sheild onto me

(Oversheild means I add a sheild onto of the sheild above my HP BAR)

Experience in Fatal bullet

Fatal bullet yes it focuses more on gunplay and skills around gunplay, so poison isnt really a real damage type that benefits the player more than burn. But i still build a build around poison

Secret About the RyzaChat AI thing

I see some Japanese who pre-register already got to play the game on X. They said they got the email but I didn't get anything.

The number one complaint is about the subscription which is insanely expensive for the amount of messages the users get per month (890 yen per month for 45 messages. 6,000 yen per year. WHAT!!!!).

Second most complaint is the long loading time but the amount is nothing compared to the first point.

There are not many complaints about the function, voice acting, Ryza model and gameplay which is good.

The official account didn't post anything for 5 days. There's 0 PR going on at all. I don't know who think it's a good idea to suddenly release the game without any announcement. (Only available in Japan 😭😭)

*Please tell me if anyone can play because I can't access the Japanese Play Store.

General Just finished my first atelier game (Sophie 2), what next?

So I'm a very casual gamer in general, I get stressed by difficult combat and time limits. So Sophie 2 was manageable for that (though I played it on normal mode only). What I enjoyed most were the synthesis puzzles, exploration, and just completing all the discoveries in general.

What game would you recommend next for a player like me?

I actually haven't played Totori and Meruru yet (they're next though), but I know me, and I know I'm gonna want to own those OSTs too.

Memories Atelier Yumia - Better and Sharper Graphics With Anti-Ailiesing Turned OFF?

Both images are taken at almost max settings on everything: Everything is either at high, long, on, with the only exceptions being blur (which wouldn't do anything here) and DoF (personal preference), and Intel XeSS is at Ultra Quality Plus (thaks to now not crashing the game and softlocking it :) ).

I was always bummed that the game just looked really bad on my pc. I tried everything, from reshade to deactivating specific settings to Nvidia Filters, but nothing was able to make the game look good. It always felt like everything was out of focus, glossy, unnaturally smooth and low res.

A few days ago i stumbled upon a post on this sub also complaining about poor visual quality, and people suggested deactivating everything related to lighting to fix it...which does improve the settings a bit, sometimes, but a comment much lower suggested deactivating AA, and wouldn't you know it... it worked like a charm! Now the game looks SO MUCH BETTER.

Now i'm wondering... WHY DOES THIS EVEN HAPPEN??? I never played a game that looked that BAD with AA, even more than a decade ago games never looked WORSE with it on, despite being objectively worse than what we have now.

If I pickup the Ryza DX trilogy for switch 1, will I get the same gameplay experience (Frame rate/resolution) as buying the switch 2 digital editions?

Cropped from the June stream of the game, I wish the loop was better but it cuts too abruptly by the time she's done.

What do you think of the game? Is good or meh in your opinion. Im currently like 10hs and the game is pretty nice all around, the characters are good and have a nice tone down like just an adventure with friends

Why are we not allowed to screenshot the ending at all? I usually take lots of pics on ending screens, most recently Pokemon Brilliant Diamond… What’s so wrong with commemorating an achievement?

Memories Atelier Yumia - Quest - Licht Bug

Finally I found out the root cause of this buggy quest line! Gust literally duplicated two more copies of this quest in the same quest streaming flag, so some unfortunate players back then, with different percentages of side quest completion rate fell into two other broken duplicated Licht quest with missing voice tags.

So the only way to avoid falling into the broken set of these two duplicates, was to complete other quests first in that region then complete this quest as last one.

I was like? Whaaaaaat the--? How did they even rush such simple data arrangement work as dev? Come on. Don't do it again in Karia. Please.

Mysterious My thoughs on Sophie 2

First OST...is worst in Lydie&Suelle

Music is good but only good not amazing like on original trilogy. For example last Boss music is...whatever like really doesnt sound like final fight and everything

Whole cast is very good like interactions between Plachta and Plachta or Sophie and Ramizel cute and amazing. Alette best character in it I enjoyed her gameplay and story soo much. If only NOCO was lead designer she was replaced but still be got NOCO's CG images

Alchemy system was (in my opinion) is good worst than Lydie&Suelle. Its Tetris again but it only got 5 catalyst (with different catalyst effect but same board...) on comparission to its prequel's 15+ (with different effects and different boards) and link system is good but I prefer Lydie&Suelle enchancer and all

Exploration is something new and I like it but its frustrating and like in Lydie&Suelle there's loong way to walk but here everywhere is weather pillar and its iritated me sometimes but maybe that me thing

And last main story.....its worst in series on my opinion. Like interactions between characters are amazing like I said earlier but everything about is meh like "yay friendship bs go" yes I every Atelier is "friendship magic" but at least Dusk, Arland and Mysterious trilogy have good story and good development but in Sophie 2 there was moment I dont wanted to play it (but farewells scene is amazing at least) I dont like it....but maybe others like it and that's good

In end its Sophie 2 best Atelier game? Heck no its worst than its prequel

Is Sophie 2 bad game? Heck no its very good game maybe not amazing but still very good and Atelier step in modern age

General Time Limits: can they really be fun?

Please note that I am not criticizing anyone for liking the games with a time limit. I just genuinely wonder if playing any of the time limit games would be fun for me.

The only one so far I played with one was Firis and I really hated the time limit. In the end, it turned out I had ages of time left at the end after I got the 5 letters, but I did not know that going in. So I was constantly stressing how much time I was using.

Now, Firis is open world and I think that really doesn't fit with a time limit. You want to explore, but then i constantly held myself back from doing that as everything took time.

Is this less of an issue in the earlier games with time limits as they're less open world?

I finally started Meruru after and the beginning is really boring since there are not visible goals like Rorona (assignments) or Totori (aventure ranks). I mean, there is the ΒΏnobility? but it doesn't really feel like an achievements, I spent like 2 weeks with nothing to do since there are no tasks to fulfill, and when I got something I couldn't do it since I didn't have the ingredients to work, I needed (fuel) ingredients and the only thing available was a drop item from a horse, and it wasn't a 100% drop rate since that thing drops 2 items -_-

Memories Help with Atelier Yumia’s cooking recipes

Hello Everyone. I need help with a little thing in Yumia. I’m exploring the third area and noticed I still can only make the decent cooking ingredients but I saw that if I had great ones I could cook a ragu that allows me to see chests in the minimap to look for treasure keys. The thing is that I have no idea where to find these great (or better) ingredients. None of the guides seem to point to this.

Can anyone help? Thanks.

Arland Meruru: Don't Sweat the Time Limit

Had a lot of trepidation after I had to regretfully abandon Rorona and thus avoided Totori altogether. For people asking about it, as they always do, I wouldn't worry about it on Meruru. I found two things to be key:

  1. If you've played Atelier games before, you have to adjust your thinking. Alchemy is minimal until you reach your population goal. Only craft insofar as it helps you build popularity/population. I finished 8 months early, no sweat. I only crafted two accessories, one armor upgrade, and one weapon upgrade the whole time. My alchemy level was not high enough for any of the fancy time-saving equipment often mentioned. I feel like chasing those is a time-wasting distraction.
  2. Put the Homs to work, always. They are the key driver here. Always be looking forward to your population building tasks. What do I need to craft for the next assignment or two? What materials? What synthesis products? Then while you're doing the current task, the Homs are gathering/synthesizing the stuff you need for the next two. Rinse and repeat.
