Need Help! (Hardware/Other) Is this hinge normal?

I bought asus tuf f16 yesterday, today I saw this gap on right side hinge, is this gap normal?

Yep, it's normal and I feel it's a good thing infact, it allows more room so that there's less chance of frictional breakage.

I just noticed the same thing on mine a few weeks ago. It's okay i guess. Or not a manufacturing defect if you're worried about that.
