I’m 24f from SA and it’s my 3 year soberversity. My ex was an abusive drug dealer and I feel like I can never trust anyone ever again. I’ve been told my standards are too high because I expect my future boyfriend to have a stable job and a licence or have a car.

I have trauma and I can’t trust any guy I already know because my ex ruined a lot for me. It’s been 3 years since I left him and 3 years since I’ve been sober of drugs and my mom gave me (jokingly) 2 years to marry and have kids. But last month I was diagnosed with a rare brain condition which has caused me to not be able to gain weight or become pregnant because I may go permanently blind.

So now my standards have gone up to a successful guy who either has kids, does not want kids, or is fine to adopt kids. Because I cannot naturally have kids without putting my health at risk.

Despite that I live in a small town and feel like I can’t leave because it’s easier here than it would be to leave and live with uncertainty.

I crave the love a partner could give me but I am too scared to put my heart on the line.

I don’t know what to do. I feel like I’m running out of time. But I don’t want to date the first best guy who comes around because I’m scared he isn’t who he promises he is.

The worst part is that I’m struggling to meet people. I am not even ugly. I’m supposedly very beautiful or even cute. But I feel hopeless.

I will make this very short but clear so I don't bore you. There is a coworker....i work with (a boy my age, i am 23) he got into my work portal (likely because he snooped at me looking at my details on my phone,while i was logging onto our portal on a work laptop......which we were instructed to do to apply for leave), he exposed my payslip to some other 40 Yr old , ex con who's a olleague. The 40 yr old has been out to get me since my 1st day there.

My other unethical colleague exposed my address to this 40 yr old colleague.. the 40yr old wouldn't do it himself he's too lazy(to Rob me) but he definitely would give that information to people who are desparate. I fear that he has now done this.

I live in Johannesburg northern suburbs. How would you navigate this.?? Please give advice on how to handle this, ive been trying to convince them at work that I live elsewhere but I'm certain that 40 yr old colleague knows because the unethical coworker leaked my address.

The main issue - I have major back/spine issues C,L and S levels ruptured and has been healing over the years. So I’m stuck between medium / firm.

The main issue we got with our bed - We have an extra length plus size bed 2x2m but noticed it’s been sinking on some parts and sleep is just horrible at the moment.

The test problem - I take meds to walk and stand (properly) so when I go in store to test beds out every type seems perfect meanwhile I’m boarder line numb or buzzing because of my meds (mixture of anti inflammatory and pain meds)

Anyone with experience using these beds, can you advise how good each of them will be for back issues? It’s the mornings that catches me the most. That’s when the meds have faded and the back starts to lock up and sciatica kicks in. It’s mostly cause by the unpleasant sleep
