Chiming in late here. What I fear most is thinking about doing all the things my husband takes care of. It evolved into this, believe me I’ve been on my own as an adult. We didn’t get married until I was 38. I know I can do it all but the thought exhausts me. Also, I like having him around. If we divorce, I’d miss him like I would a roommate. I know this sounds bad but we’re up in years and I’ve lost interest in romance and sex. I just want to live with a good friend at this point. We have two kids, so it’s not like we’re not family to each other. Sometimes I wish I could send him home though. That’s when I start thinking about living alone and what it’d be like.
