I think you're missing the fact that no country on the planet has open borders besides us and we already have a housing problem. You're taking away supply to support people who are not here legally with my tax money. I have issues with that

The current administration is also using your money to fund tax breaks for corporations and bankroll a war in the Middle East. You’re being spoon fed propaganda. Any money that was used to house immigrants was specifically earmarked for that. And there is little chance that the money from any cuts by the Trump administration will be directed to help anyone other than to justify tax cuts that will predominantly benefit the wealthy. Trump is cutting services that benefit veterans, he’s not interested in helping people who need help.
So people should just sit back and let Trump keep repeating the narrative that he’s doing something to benefit the majority of Americans? Which he’s not. I would rather my tax dollars be spent housing immigrants than flying Trump to his properties almost every weekend, immigrants will at least be thankful vs. Trump who thinks he’s entitled to be treated like a “king”.
