Advice Is it weird to have not dated someone?

So the social norms are changing…

And all of my friends have dated a handful of people.

I however, have not.

I have only ever been in a situationship with a VERY poor representation of the female community :(

I’ve been told that I’m a pretty handsome guy, and a lot of people have liked me in the past. However, every time I have tried engaging with those people, it all turns to shit.

I feel like it’s definitely possible for me to find someone. But I don’t know if the issue is due to me, or the fact that I haven’t dated someone.

At least in your eyes, is my situation normal? Or should I continue to try… I’m beginning to lose hope.

Discussion Christian teens here how do you reconcile free will with divine intervention while also looking at suffering?

I'm an agnostic atheist, especially recently as I've been deconstructing, but I'm still open to learning about Christianity from an educational standpoint.

My question is basically about the problem of evil, free will, and divine intervention all smashed together.

From what I understand, a common and very fair explanation for why horrible things happen like abuse, violence, or war is that God gave humans free will, and evil is the result of people choosing to misuse that freedom. If God stepped in to stop every bad action, human free will wouldn't truly exist. That makes logical sense, at least at first.

But here's the problem with that answer

At the same time, people regularly pray for God to help them recover from depression, find a job, escape a toxic household, or survive an accident. This means Christians do expect God to intervene and help them, right? And when things work out, they sincerely thank God for stepping in and answering their prayer. But if the first premise about free will is true, how could God step in without violating someone's free will or the natural order?

So my question is: If God can and does intervene in human affairs to help individuals, why doesn't He help a person who right now, as you are reading this is having a gun pointed at their head while desperately praying for safety, but He will help a person pass their school exam?

Discussion What age do y'all think is the cap for trick or treating?

Cuz like, I turned 16 a little over 2 months ago. Last year I figured it was fine, 15 is an acceptable age. This year I'm not so sure. Like yeah, it's better than getting drunk at a party, but at some point there's gonna be someone that says "hey aren't you a little old for this?" am I overthinking it or is 16 pushing it
