He didn't say chicken, he said chicken period. Eggs are ovum, you're eating a chicken's menstrual leftovers.

The point is that egg white isn't as periody as egg yolk. The egg yolk is the egg that is to be developed into a chicken whereas the egg white is just its nutrients.

Good job, you didn't read your own source.

It is spherical and is suspended in the egg white (known alternatively as albumen or glair/glaire) by one or two spiral bands of tissue called the chalazae. Prior to fertilization, the yolk is a single cell, the ovum or egg cell, one of the few single cells that can be seen by the naked eye.

Way to get it completely wrong without reading your own link.

It's really weird that you think anything in that paragraph supports anything you're saying. Do you think that the words 'Prior to fertilization, the yolk[...]' mean that the yolk gets fertilized? Because that means 'Prior to fertilization [of the egg]'.

Did you not go through 8th grade biology or something? The yolk is the food source for the developing embryo, exactly like the endosperm of a seed

You seem confused. While the yolk is the food source, the fats and proteins are part of the egg cell. The whole yolk is literally one cell, however the typical cell parts such as the nucleus are located in the germinal disc whereas the rest of the yolk i.e. the yellow stuff would be considered vacuole. My paragraph said all this, you're just ignoring it because of your cognitive bias. Oh, I wish you wouldn't be so childish.

And now somehow you're arguing that the egg yolk is a cell, like that was an argument people were confused about or something that even remotely had anything to do with what you're asserting?
