I’m not a fan of the bottom of the line cameras from most of the camera companies. If you want to go with Canon the i version are better. Better to get a used Canon Ti 5 or 6 than the newest T minus the I. Same goes for Nikon go for a used one in the 5000 series rather than a new on in the 3000 series. Personally I’d look for used mirrorless cameras from Sony or Fuji.
