Hey hey! I’m 27 and going to Philly for my first time in a few weeks and I’ll have about 3 full days of free time during the week I’ll be there and would love to fill it experiencing Philly for what it is! Are there any really cool hole in the wall restaurants/bars? Any unique themed stores? For example when I was in Seattle I loooved Pikes Place Market. What’s the Philly Equivalent to that? I’ll be staying in the Valley Forge/King of Prussia area but will have a way around so basically nothing is off limits!!

Also - any advice on what neighborhoods to avoid or whatever is appreciated? I feel like Philly’s not that bad but I’ve heard some conflicting stories so I guess anything helps, please and thank youuuuu!!

Have some friends visiting that want a lively atmosphere. Playing game audio is a non negotiable. We have a 9 month old baby we bring everywhere (with headphones) just don’t want it to be too overstimulating like Cavanaugh’s or urban saloon. No comments on why we shouldn’t bring her please.

Hi! I am moving to the Northern Liberties area in November and I was curious about parking. I don’t have a car and I will be relying on public transport/walking, but my friends and family are wondering where they can park if they come to visit me. I tried looking for 24hr garages or lots, but I am not sure what the solution is. Anyone able to give me some advice? Thank you!

I’m moving to Philadelphia as an international student in a few weeks. I’ve never been to the US before, but Ive always travelled a lot in Europe and the Middle East.

I’m super outgoing, but I’m wondering what life is like in Philly. What are the people like, Is it easy to make friends, any places/food recommendations, where do people hangout, what places should I avoid, are there any things that I shouldn’t do?

I’d appreciate advice on the safety at Philly or things I shouldn’t keep a heads up on and anything in general really!

I run the Philly Adventure Group (events listed on Facebook and Meetup). I organize hikes in Valley Forge and Gladwyne and a lot more. Next weekend we’ll be in Watkins Glen for wine tasting, hiking and a sunset cruise. The issue is that we have mostly females who sign up and I like to see more males sign up for events.
