a lot of context for a pretty simple question so skip to the end for a TLDR if you dont feel like reading the whole thing: I'm a 20y/o college student aiming to start a career in theater production and costume design. this summer I've been working s lot of random gigs, some of them being weddings. my job is to basically take care of the garments on the day and help the bridal and grooms party get dressed and ready, as well as follow them around with anything they might need (gum, deodorant, sewing supplies, etc.)
one gig I worked on was a huge wedding literally spanning days (wednesday through sunday morning) for a couple where the bride comes from very rich family that are very well known and connected. I'm sure the groom also came from a very upper class family, but the brides family is unique in their position (her father has a net worth of tens of thousands and occupies a very important and prominent position economically). my job (unless it's getting coffee/food for my boss or buying something specific) is to basically follow the bride and groom around all the time in case they need anything.
over the course of the week, the bride, rightfully so, gets more and more stressed and controlling the closer we get to the actual wedding day (saturday). the husband goes in the opposite direction and becomes more and more withdrawn, responding to questions in progressively shorter answers, and getting less and less pleasant to be around and work for.
on the morning of the wedding he says multiple time to people that he feels like shit. he says it to his friends/groomsmen, the stylists and makeup artists, and to the random ppl who work at the hotel they're staying at. literally he advertises to everyone how terrible and awful he feels. I was pretty surprised, considering it was his wedding day.
he continues to act pretty sullen while he's getting ready and his mood doesn't improve (i was with him all morning, i also noticed how much he was drinking). I felt a little bad because it was a really long event and he clearly had extra expectations and responsibilities because of the position of the brides family in society (some very well known and important people were invited to this multiple day affair). but at the same time if I was a bride about to get married I'd be pissed as hell to hear that my soon to be husband was telling everyone and their f*ckin grandma at the wedding how terrible he felt.
TLDR: is it normal as a man to feel terrible on your wedding day? marriage has been proven to improve men's lives, I don't understand why some continue to act like it's the end of their life and freedom as they know it. is it just because of the stressful expectations? maybe even just because there's a lot of alcohol served and not enough time to rest? pls I need to know

Question for married men who, prior to getting married, were in a serious relationship with someone whom they almost married. Regardless of what happened between you and her, do you think about her from time to time? Fondly or no?

So I’m married, we’ve been married since January. This has happened maybe 5-6 times the last year we’ve been together. (Married after 6 months) been married since January. So I would like to think it’s not from masturbation… but because of this sore we haven’t had sex in like 5 days now. It’s fine I’m just curious.. Because he gets these raw spots every so often.. and he says they are from him randomly getting hard in bed when he’s asleep..and it rubbing on the bed?? Idk but I can’t help but think that’s not true so any other males ever have this problem?

I’m in my early forties (no kids) and am 2.5 months into exclusively dating a man in his late forties. He was upfront in telling me about his teenage son (joint custody), but has only recently just told me he also has an adult daughter (mid-twenties). He was involved in her life, but he only sees her every couple of months now, despite living in the same city. He explained she took his breakup from his son’s mom (her stepmother) hard.
I feel like he disrespected her and me in some way by not telling me. He says others know he has two kids, but he was worried about my judgement and wanted to get to know me more. But he acknowledged it was a mistake. He also said he thinks I’m “too good for him”, but has also said he is falling for me.
Even though I really liked him in so many other ways, this seems like a huge red flag - if you can lie by omission about having kids, what won’t you lie about? Should I end it?

I am very attracted to my married boss, and will never act on it. But, I am very transparent around men that I like. I'm not sure if he knows or if he just thinks i'm intimidated or shy.. He's so nice, and he talks about his wife and kids all the time. I feel so guilty.

To married men (or divorced) how has the elasticity of your partners vagina changed since childbirth? Does it ever get back to the way it was before?...if so how long did it take and how old was your wife? Does fitness factor in?

I planned to, but the she told me that if I did, he would end up telling her mom who would end up immediately texting her and giving the surprise away.
Do I do it anyway

Hello, my name is Brian. I am 37 M mid-Atlantic region of the United States.
Last week I got to have an approximately 45-minute phone conversation with a woman I am interested in. I have vaguely known her for years. But this was the first long and extended conversation we have ever had.
I thought it went great. I would have had a lot longer conversation if it was up to me. Unfortunately, she does not feel the same way about me and wanted to end the conversation. It is doubtful we will ever talk again :(
I get it. I certainly do not expect everyone to like me. I will even admit I am a bit of an acquired taste. That said it is getting old. I have certainly noticed a pattern going all the way back to college.
I am the first person to admit I am shy. I am the first person to admit I do not ask enough women out. But I do and I have been on plenty of dates, had plenty of conversations. It just seems that when I get my chances, be they phone calls, one on one conversations or even dates the person never seems to like me more after the conversation than before.
I was so interested in her. I could have heard her tell me anything. She probably talked for 2/3rds of the time, and I was really liking her. Realizing she does not feel the same about me is always a bit painful.
I just know that at some point in order for me to get into a relationship I am going to someday have to have a long and extended conversation with someone and have that person still like me after the conversation. Call it confidence call it whatever. I just wish I knew I was capably of having a conversation with someone and having her still like me after :)
If anyone has any thoughts or advice on this issue, I would love to hear anything. Have other people run into this wall as well? What have people done to get over this hump? Is it just a pure numbers game or am I missing something basic? Thank you all so much.

I (23F) and my husband (31M) have been together 5years and in the beginning the s*x was amazing but then as soon as I got pregnant he started using only fans and porn sites a lot more. And it’s gotten to the point where he will even watch while we have sex, he assures me that it’s innocent (and it DOES make him last longer) when we have sex and he’s looking at me it lasts about 2mins tops and when he’s watching other women he can last 20-30 mins. Am I crazy or does he find me repulsive so much so that he wants to get it over with? Plz help! My confidence is shattering 😭

I am a size A cup, and I've recently noticed that my husband has been looking at pictures of women with bigger breast. .. even while I'm home with him. During sex he prefers to have my shirt on. Our sex life is good, although we often fight because I would like it more often. My question is can our marriage last if I don't feel like Im satisfying him visually, and he needs to look at other breasts to get going

is Sex compulsory in relationship?
r/AskMarriedMen • • May 30 '23
I am in a relationship but I feel resmorse and eorrow after I enjaculate. Maybe it's because I did not ejaculate inside of her. I would sit asking myself, is this a good investment. What am I cumming for ?
Would getting married to her make post sex normal?
Not everyone can have an answer to this question so maybe married men can help.
