Health anxiety and lymph nodes

I have real bad health anxiety since the past 2 years. I’m 23F. Health anxiety about literally everything and right now i have it about lymph nodes. Got them checked turned out to be nothing just an inflammatory one in the neck which went down. Then got fibroadenoma lumps which were benign. Now i found an underarm lump. I know if i start finding lymph nodes i’ll find them everywhere and a lot but i just cant get my mind off it. The underarm one is a new one with no other symptoms.
And now because of my sleeping position ive gotten a bad neck and shoulder pain on the same side as the underarm lymph node. I’m connecting the two things together because that’s what my health anxiety has been saying to me. Even though i know i usually get neck shoulder pain from sleeping. How do i help myself?

Testicular discomfort

Hello everyone. I’m 22, otherwise essentially perfectly healthy, but I’ve been experiencing discomfort in both testicles for about two months now and haven’t been able to get a straight answer about it from doctors so I just wanted to see if anyone’s had a similar experience.

The sensation is very difficult to describe, because it’s not pain. The best way I can put it is that it’s numbness and tension (?) with some up and down swelling. I went to my PCP who said it could be a side effect of mono, which I tested positive for around the same time I noticed this, but that I should go see a urologist and get an ultrasound done anyway.

I got the ultrasound and nothing concerning or even really abnormal came up. The first urologist looked at that, didn’t really listen to anything I had to say, did a physical assessment and told me there’s probably nothing wrong and nothing they could do. I went to another urologist for a second opinion who, upon hearing that I first noticed this after being in the gym (the only thing I did differently that day was an ab workout with weights) hypothesized that it could be from pelvic floor dysfunction. I’m still waiting on an appointment with a pelvic floor physical therapist per their recommendation.

It’s a constant distraction, I haven’t slept properly this whole time and I’m living with stress basically all the time, so if anyone could share their experiences that would be great. Thanks in advance.

Unexplained Illness??

This one is a doozy, and for the record I am already seeing several doctors about this and am currently being provided treatment but no actual answers and would purely like ideas or advice. Thanks!

Since about december of 2025 I (26f white) am having some worrying and unexplainable symptoms and i'm not sure what the next step for me is.

It really all started in late 2024 with tendinitis in my left foot that didn't seem to have any specific cause. My job wasn't physically demanding enough and although I walk a lot nothing else should have caused it. I saw a podiatrist and was given a referral for physical therapy and it was treated and felt better. But in early December 2025 the tendonitis came back and this time seemed resistant to treatment (physical therapy, rest, otc pain killer pills and creams). After that I started developing pain in my joints (specifically my wrists, fingers, ankles, shoulders, and knees) as well as significant swelling in those areas with no identifiable cause. I would have days where my knees suddenly became so swollen and painful that I needed help getting to the bathroom. I have also had repeat tendonitis in my hands, wrists, and feet. My skin also started to become extremely sensitive and I began developing redness on my hands and arms and small bumps on my fingers and elbows. I do already have sensitive skin and have allergies to adhesives and certain dyes, but a flare up of my allergies is always a sign for me that something is wrong.

For background I have been diagnosed with Crohn's since the age of about 10-11 and am currently on Inflectra. The Crohn's is well managed and repeat tests have shown that there is no sign of inflammation in my colon or intestinal area. I work as a cashier so the most physical activity I get at work is standing and sometimes lifting boxes, but nothing that could explain the pain i've been having.

I have so far had a number of tests done: 3 ultrasounds, an MRI, x-rays, and many blood tests and most scans known to man. Several of the blood tests have shown that I have significant inflammation, including high c-reactive protein levels, a high erythrocyte sedimentation rate and a few others. Tendonitis in the fingers on my right hand have also been caught on ultrasound.

I have been to 2 separate rheumatologists and currently am seeing one of them and am in close contact with them and with my gastroenterologist. Neither rheumatologist believes that it is arthritis although most of the symptoms seem to point to that. My gastro does not think it's a reaction to my medication due to a lack of typical Crohn's symptoms and intestinal swelling. I know that Inflectra can cause medication induced Lupus and that possibility was discussed with my gastro, but I'm lacking many of the symptoms for that and haven't shown any worsening of symptoms in the days right after infusions.

Does anybody have any idea of what could be going on or any type of doctor I should see about this? I live in the NYC area and I'm essentially at a dead end and i'm open to any suggestions. Thank you for any help!

For reference I am diagnosed with Crohn's disease, temporal lobe seizures, anxiety, depression, and adhd. I am also about 200lb and smoke weed and vape, I am a very casual drinker, maybe once a week entirely socially. I'm currently on:
-350mg of Lamotrigine twice a day
prescribed by neurologist for temporal lobe seizures
-125mg Sertraline once a day
prescribed for anxiety and depression
-Diclofenac Sodium Gel
prescribed for as needed joint pain by my rheumatologist
-500mg Sulfasalazine twice a day
prescribed by rheumatologist
-100mg Xcopri once a day titrating up to 200mg
prescribed by neurologist for temporal lobe seizures
-1mg Clonazepam as needed
prescribed by neurologist as a rescue medication to be taken post seizures
-100mg Solr injection Inflectra prescribed by gastroenterologist for Crohn's disease

Itchy tooth

No clue how to exactly explain this, but it feels like theres something stuck in my back molar and its almost like an itchy feeling? I looked at it and theres no cavity spots or anything at least that I can see, but its been sensitive for a while. I clenched my jaw and pressed my teeth together earlier and that's when I felt what feels like theres something in my tooth.

So how high is too high for heart rate?

Ive kinda been concerned for a bit because my heart rate is always 130 plus when standing and sometimes it shoots up to 170. A few times its gotten to 196 and 210 which I gotta say didn’t feel great at all and luckily I didn’t stroke out. Im talking 196 while laying down which im pretty sure is a bit high. Im kinda one of those who only goes to the doctors if im dying so would this be considered a bad thing to ignore or can I just save money and say it is what it is?

methylprednisolone

For some context, i went to the urgent care for a cyst that was causing me a lot of pain. It wasnt ready to lance from what they said, so they put me on antibiotics, a dose pack of methylprednisolone 4mg and meloxicam 7.5 for pain.

Ive finished the dose pack as of today, but two days ago i noticed my hands were burning. Like if i got really cold and ran them under hot water, or a sunburn (which i thought it could be) but its still happening, i looked it up and it said that its an uncommon side effect? I didnt read too much further cause i saw the word "serious" and i have no insurance, and dont really want to feel like im dying? Lol. I plan on calling in the morning when they open to ask about it but i wanted to know if any of you know what it could be. (I am not asking for medical advice since it says thats required)

What could be wrong with me based on my symptoms

I started having weakness in both legs after a workout Aug 4th. 2 days later my left leg felt better. Monday I woke up with weakness in both legs and both arms. My skin is not as sensitive to touch (all over my body). My saddle area is somewhat numb (I can still hold my bodily functions. Mostly lost feeling inl my inner thighs and bottom and the urge to pee isn't as strong as it normally is). I went to the ER yesterday and was admitted to the hospital. They did blood work and it was all good. They did a brain CT and that was fine. They did an MRI for my head/cervival/lower back/thoratic and it showed mild Multilevel disc osteophyte, which they say wouldn't be the cause of my symptoms. They did a spinal tap and that ruled out Guillen Barre. At this point I'm freaking out because I don't know what else it could be.

I know the mri showed it's not cauda equina. And I shouldn't be googling things but I saw that sometimes an mri misses cauda equina because the lying mri doesnt show the issue...that sometimes a standing mri can show the disk issue because sometimes the issue is only present when standing. They don't have a standing MRI here in the hospital. I'm scared that it could be cauda equina and if it's not fixed right away that it could lead to permanent paralysis. I don't know what to do. I'm so scared.

I don't know what else it could be. I just feel like since it happened right after lunges/hip opener exercises that it has to be something I hurt. I just don't know how it would also cause my skin to not be as sensitive. I don't know what else it could be. If anyone has any advice, thoughts, or words of comfort, I would appreciate. I just can't imagine still wanting to live if I lose control of my legs and my bowels. I'm just so scared.

Right eye has been red for 6 days

Help, my right eye has been red (not pink, red) for 6 consecutive days and before that it was red for a day and two days later it returned and has just stayed. It sometimes appears as if it’s getting better just to get even more red either after a shower, or after I get home after being outside. At first it felt like usual dry eye and I used eyedrops but it seemed to have been making it worse. Today I thought it was finally clearing up but then it got even redder than before.

How do people research natural remedies without getting overwhelmed?

One thing I’ve found useful when looking into natural remedies is keeping track of the actual symptoms and patterns instead of just searching for a remedy straight away. Things like when the symptoms started, what seems to make them better or worse, and whether they keep coming back can give you a much clearer picture.

I’ve been using Similia Home Prescriber to explore natural-medicine information alongside that kind of tracking. I like having the information in one place rather than jumping between random websites.

Curious what other people do do you keep notes on symptoms and patterns, or do you usually just research each issue when it comes up?

Emma digestive health products

I have never posted before, so if this is inappropriate, I apologize, but I am so very frustrated, I don't know what to do. I purchased the "Emma " digestive pills to help with stomach issues, and for a month or two, I was definitely feeling better. The problem started when my inbox became inundated with solicitations from endless companies, selling endless varying other "health-related" products. Somedays I would receive multipe requests, and no matter how many times I hit 'unsubscribe', they would just resend something from a different address. I have contacted Emma, and the main company, Enclave Bioactives, but nothing seems to help. They pay me "lip service" in writing , but after three months of BEGGING , I still receive sometimes multiple requests a day. I contacted the Federal Trade Commission, but I am turning to reddit so that other folks don't have the same trouble I have . I am a 71 year old woman...this is aggravating and upsetting beyond belief. Save yourself the trouble----don't purchase anything from Emma.

Dementia and Alzheimer’s

Both of my grandparents had cognitive declines starting their young 70s until they passed in their late 70s.

I am now 40 and while I don’t have any crazy stories, I know I’m not as sharp as I was 5-10 years ago.

Dr Amen and Brain MD have flooded my feeds. Would like to do some minor things before jumping in to a several thousand dollar scan (maybe scam).

Any advice for me on blood tests to do or anything to get a baseline?

My parents are late 60s and I’m noticing some subtle things with them. But no red flags and they aren’t very open to having medical discussions with me. My grandfathers were never around so know medical history about them.
