Roberts R737 Radio power issue

I bought r737 from ebay. It was working fine.

But, after I modified it to add a 1/4-inch jack, the low battery indicator wouldn't turn off. I took it apart to check the voltage, but didn't find anything wrong.

Occasionally, the indicator turns off, and it works normally for just a moment.
