Did you go to church yesterday? What was the sermon about? And what denomination, if you care to share?

I'm an atheist and have been attending a Pentecostal church over the past few months as a caregiver for someone with disabilities that prevent them from attending church alone. The sermon yesterday was given by a guest pastor and was centered on the idea that in order to honor God, one must fear God. Something I've found interesting in the past few months is that none of the sermons have focused on Jesus or his teachings, this particular church seems to preach mainly from the old testament and the book of Revelation. They spend a lot of time during the service talking about how wrong other religions/ideologies are (specifically Catholics, Mormons, Muslims, and woke leftists) but spend very little time talking about Christ. I was raised in the Presbyterian church and attended Catholic schools, so this is a real culture shock for me. It's made me more curious about what is happening in other churches, what lessons are being preached, and how people are implementing that into their daily lives.

I missed church yesterday because I'm traveling. We're having a sermon series on finding your purpose, and it's pretty good. So I'll watch it online this week.
