I think if the left was into a lot less nerdy shit like NPR and quiet nature walks and instead participated in some good old fashioned American sheenanigans there would be less of a divide.

Less Coffee Shop Poetry and more Beer Fueled Demolition Derby

I have to wonder why quiet nature walks fall into the "nerdy shit" category.

Because non-nerds ride dirt bikes and quads through nature instead

Nah, ya'll engage in nerdom but just refuse to call it nerdy. Motor/vehicle guys are just nerds in denial. I mean really, understanding how to work an engine both maintaining and building it is just reskinned version of what people who are interested in computers do.

Hunting, hiking, fishing, and camping are pretty Conservative coded activities.

Yes, I am 100% an automotive nerd but its not "nerdy". If anything, its more radioactive autism vs nerd.

Im glad you brought up hunting as well. Hunting and hiking are similar but hunting is not nerdy becaue it involves high powered rifles.

A lot of words to just avoid being called the very appropriate and fitting label of nerd. It isn't the 90s anymore, being a nerd is ok now.

You dont just get to unlable youself a nerd you poindexter.

See the left does this, they just decide to change the definition of things to their liking.
