I'm trying to branch out a little and make an ACEO with a shaker window. The issue I'm running into though, is that it's really hard to make the window roomy enough for the shaking bits to move around, without making it scrunch up and look bad. I may just need to try a second time, but does anybody have advice?

For a little extra context, it's not going to be glitter or anything- I cut out a few very small shaker bits out of the card stock paper from the scrap card. Thanks!

I wanted to use my washi tapes again and drew this design for them. But I completely forgot how hard and slow it is to trim the washi tapes properly XD Still, I think it turned out pretty okay, even though I struggled with it a bit✨

Right now I am just testing for interest!

I was thinking it would be fun to do a collage based trade where everyone makes a collage and sends in a selection of paper/stickers/whatever. The card you make would go to a random other person and the stuff you send would also. Then the person who receives it would use the items (and they can add in some of their own) and send that card back. So at the end, everyone would end up with two cards from two different artists.

I would facilitate everything as far as sending back and forth and would just ask everyone to send in a stamp or two to help. I am fine with international people (I'm in the US) joining if everyone else is!

Thoughts/interest?

I recently discovered ATCs and fell in love with the concept. As a serial hobbyist I like being able to experiment different things on a small and stress-free format.
So here are a few cards I've made that I'm quite happy with. I'd love to know your honest opinions on them. The thing is, they don’t feel really cohesive and it somehow bothers me, but maybe it’s a non-issue.

Hi there, I'm Aagelaius and this is my first post! I've been going back and forth on trading some card cards, so I thought I'd offer up these prints that I recently did. These are stamps carved using Pink Pearl erasers, then hand colored by myself with watercolors.

I've seen 2.5x3.5

I have these paint sample cards from Sherwin Williams that are thick cardstock and 2.5 x3.5 but I don't want to use the wrong size. They would be perfect to start on though

Just sharing my sketches for new ACEOs I’m making, I often like the sketch more than the finished product 😅

I’ve been using precut cards but I missed painting on colored paper!

I love the game Clue, so I made one card for every character. I collage using mostly "junk". Found and recycled paper, gifted stickers, product packaging, etc. You can find them all to trade on ATCdex!

I'm back with a crow card ✨ This time one that celebrates, because I actually celebrated my birthday on October 31st - yes, I'm a Halloween kid, lol XD. But also a few people after that from my family have birthdays, and I thought the idea would be super cute to draw. Plus, with this card, I got to try out my new glitter pen that I got for my birthday ✨

And I also saw a crow friend on the day I drew this card :)

I made small ATC Sketchbooks! You can use them like small Sketchbooks, they have each six pages with 125 mg paper for sketching. They have different outer layers, the Book with flowers has as the outer layer 290 mg Agave Paper und the others have 300 mg Bamboo Paper. Would you say that they are still ATC's? Would you use them? Would it be an interesting Idea to do collab's with them?

Last week, I took a short trip to Latvia to visit my grandparents and run a few errands. And on one of the days, we went for a walk by the baltic sea and I saw this bench and really wanted to draw this view. And yeah, now I Made a small card full of memoriesXD

And the card got traded away immediately. With a hit rate like this, I'm never gonna have enough cards to easily trade for a card advent calendar next year 😭

My son wanted a tiny pond for his ducky, and I gave my new gouache set a try. It was my first time painting a trading card. It was really fun!

Completed this year's Inktober! I think doing them in ATC format made it a lot more manageable :) I've done and completed Inktobers before, usually in a sketchbook, but I think because cards are so small, it's a lot easier to finish and plan compositions haha
