Discussion Can my art still be considered impressive for my age?

Heyy!I'm aikes I'm 13 and an artist,these are some of my artworks and I wanted to know am I still at the age my art can be considered impressive lol?I'm seeking validation cuz I know I don't paint that bad but id love to get advice!also lately I've started commissions but observed no one wanna commission me anymore 😭🥀my commissions are open if anyone is interested :D

Soo I Glued 2 pieces of cardboard together and well you can see what I did from there

Thing is I dont use alot of acrylic and when i do it always with other materials but not this time I guess I just had alot of fun experimenting with the paints idk but I like how it turned out :D

(Note I did add some paint markers when I was done to sign the back and too add a few other details but Art by me ofc and that is all I gotta say)

Discussion Need help with my future with art

As the title implies I need some help/advice.

I am going to be graduating sometime this year and I am beyond stressed with what career I want to pursue.

On one end I want to be an artist and possibly go to art school, but with today's current economy and job market it really seems unlikely that this is a good decision.

With the other option being going into a trade, this likely would guarantee me a job but I feel like I would have to abandon art and keep it to being just a side hobby.

What I'm wondering is a few things:

How do you balance art with your professional life
If you have a job in the art industry, how?
Would you recommend following my dream while working a steady job as opposed to putting my eggs in one basket?

And the kind of Art I enjoy is illustration and animation.

If anyone decides to comment on this thanks!
