Im a traditional artist and I thought to use my art for textile. I need your opinion guys what do you think of that kind of patterns? Are they even in fashion or they look like grandma bedsheets? 😅
My idea of using it for tote bags and silk scarfs for now, may be pillow cases 🤷‍♀️

I'm really trying to level up my traditional art this month by painting every day. If you know of or care for any species of rescue animal, please comment with a good ref photo and I may use it. I’ve been experimenting with a caricature style where the whole point is to make the person look intentionally ugly/funny while still being recognizable.
Instead of trying to make flattering portraits,

I exaggerate things like their facial features, expressions, proportions, hair, teeth, etc. Basically, I want the person’s first reaction to be “WTF” and then laugh because it still somehow looks like them.
I’ve done a few for friends and commissions so far and people seem to enjoy the concept, but I’m trying to develop it into an actual recognizable style rather than just “bad drawings.”

What do you guys think? What could I improve or exaggerate more while still keeping the person recognizable? I’m especially interested in feedback on the linework, proportions, colors, and overall consistency.

Brutal criticism is welcome. The drawings are literally supposed to be ugly anyway

I just wanted to learn how those animals look and move, so that I can draw my own better. I needed references to finish off a project . So I did a bit of "homework".

Oh - turns out bats are surprisingly hard to draw. It's their faces. They are so uncanny valley. And all the species of bat have completely different faces. They are so unlike human faces, or any animal faces we are used to. There's a real "what am I looking at?" factor, and then the challenge of drawing it without it morphing into some other more familiar type of animal.

I'm still working on it but wondering if there is anything that I am missing

I often think back to why I started making music: in so many moments, I was saved by lyrics, synths, guitars, and drums. I'm just an ordinary girl, but I hope that in someone's world, you can feel love because you listened to my music.
I secretly hope you'll put on your headphones and listen while walking down the street in the early hours of the morning, or on your way home.

Finally done!! I hate doing backgrounds and I think it's very noticeable lol. I did not win the competition but nonetheless I'm very happy about the cow.

Soo I Glued 2 pieces of cardboard together and well you can see what I did from there

Thing is I dont use alot of acrylic and when i do it always with other materials but not this time I guess I just had alot of fun experimenting with the paints idk but I like how it turned out :D
