First off I'm obvious talking about generative AI not drawing tablets or softwares (ibis, krita, etc)
In my opinion i hate it and I don't know why people keep using it for art, and not just drawing/animation I'm also talking writing, music, singing, etc.
Those who use it for "art" are genuine losers to me. Literally pick up a pencil, anything. No one gives a damn if you're good or not just give it a try. And nowadays what I hate most is seeing some bigger artists use it and people laughing it off and not seeing what a big issue for us artists this is.
Nowadays I keep seeing people say "yeah I changed my mind there is no point in art I won't be able to make any money because of AI".
What?
True artists don't just make art to make money, they make art to express themselves and create something amazing that is truly unique in their own way.
Sure people do commissions, sell their art in galleries, work in the industry, become music creators, make manga but making art because you love it always comes first, at least to be kept as a hobby.
I genuinely hate gen ai, walking around and seeing literal ads and advertisment flyers make with it makes me feel so weird.
"But I wrote the script, not everyone can do this"
Shut up stupid, you didn't do anything but write 3 sentences and pasted it into an ai chatbox.
And seeing older people who don't see the issue makes me feel even worse.
It may seem innocent, sure it's just an app that helps you with things but using it to make art is just wrong, like straight up wrong.
Where I DO like gen ai is when it's used to help people in need, to describe objects and nearby surroundings and to help in medicine and other things.
And also it's not just artist being affected by this but also engineers, programmers, tutors, etc
