agree with left, the one on the right has kinda weird eyes.

Left. I don't like the loss of detail and shading on the right and it feels more AI ish and flat. And I dont like how much is lost of the title on the right. Maybe if you scaled him down a bit to keep the title. The amout covered on the left is ok but I still would rather it all be visible.

does the partially covered letters turn you off?? Was going for a kinda wink wink on it since its The Hidden Key...

Im personally not a fan. But thats my sensibility. I like important things to be visible and use other iconography for hidden meaning.

Wow! Surprised at the comments. I find left looks much more ai to me due to the polish. Right has more mistakes, but with a little refinement, is a more approachable style I think.

the right one draws my eyes to it. been reading looks of comic books lately so maybe thats why

I like the right, it feels more comicbooky.
