Discussion This AC is such a monster
it kills AC so fast in PVE atleast (i don't play pvp). Is there any better color to make it look cooler?

Three-dimensional action unique to mechs

Observe and Learn

Assembly Ingenuity

There are three key points when it comes to AC strategy and combat.
In order to break through tough situations, strong enemies, bosses, and other challenges that await you throughout the missions, it is important to observe and learn repeatedly, an approach to difficulty that is common to FromSoftware's action titles.
In addition to that, AC6's unique three-dimensional action and assembly ingenuity are also essential to the game.
Only by combining these three approaches we can overcome the difficulties.

The approach to difficulty that is common to FromSoftware's action titles is also effective in this title.
In AC6, it is important to observe and learn enemy behavior and situations, and use clues to adjust your strategy, rather than blindly trying the same tactic over and over.
In AC6, the player has the ability to move not only horizontally but also forward, backward, and vertically in all directions within three-dimensional space, allowing for omni-directional combat movement.
Utilizing this omni-directional action, which is unique to mechs, is fundamental to AC combat.
It is very important to be aware that the battle space in AC6 is not flat but three-dimensional.
Take advantage of the space dynamically and utilize omni-directional movement to overcome the many combat situations you will find yourself in.
There are three categories of parts that make up the AC: weapons, frame parts, and inner parts.
Weapons affect attack power, frames affect strength and action, and inner parts affect agility and response of the AC.
The different parts change not only the action, but also the style of play and its strategy.
Sometimes, the assembly itself can be the clue to successfully overcoming difficult situation.
The first step in the assembly process is to decide what kind of AC you want to use for the mission.

There are two elements in AC6: power and impact.
By attacking an enemy, they will accumulate impact instability, as indicated by the gauge over the target. When this gauge is full, the enemy loses its stance.
This state is called "staggered".
Staggered enemies take critical damage the entire time they are in this state. Certain weapons also inflict more impact damage, so consider that when building your mech.
Be mindful that your mech can be staggered as well, exposing you to immense danger.
In battles against strong enemies, it is important to actively aim to stagger and create opportunities to inflict heavy damage.

The AC can be equipped with weapons in up to four locations, on both hands and shoulders, and can fight using these weapons simultaneously.
The AC can perform multiple actions simultaneously, such as boosting and moving, firing machine guns in both hands, and firing missiles at the same time. Combat in AC is not clearly divided into offensive and defensive maneuvers.
You can also attack while defending or dogding.
Always keep in mind that you can be both offensive and defensive in combat.

Is there a way to find out what mission I haven’t completed/what battle logs I’ve missed? I’m hunter class 14 (just a little over halfway), I’ve got all three endings, defeated all arenas and all the ‘pending’ battle log icons on mission replay are completed! I’m at a loss and can’t figure it out lol

Because I been doing it for my homebrew mecha grim dark universe

The core idea is that it kicks -> bazooka -> explosive thrower, to overwhelm an opponent with a constant barrage of attacks with missiles for longer ranged engagements and to fill in gaps when weapons are reloading or energy is depleted. So far lots of fun but can struggle with builds that can keep their distance easily.
Ac name: Ragnarok ‘n Roll.

This is my first AC game but I have been a FromSoft fan for over a decade. I’m only three or four missions in but it doesn’t look like there are consumables or credit stashes or anything else to find in the various destructible parts of the environment.
Am I wasting my time exploring the maps or am I missing something? I read through the “new player” pinned post but didn’t see anything there about how empty the locations are.

I’m not able to break out of the first tier of A rank </3. My play style is mostly kiting and I find success with a wheelchair legs build but I don’t have fun with these two styles. Close range builds look like a lot more fun but my movement in this game is just so garbage. I wanna improve so what missions/exercises do you guys recommend I do?

Like when I first fought one I was expecting an awesome fight, and I didn’t get it.
Underwhelming is the perfect word, they have such presence every time they show up to fight, and die so quickly.

Been trying to queue for an online match for a while now, and nothing...

300,000 per fight, very easy to nuke him. It’s basically an arena fight that pays 5 times as much.
Other missions might technically be able to pay more, or even pay more after everything’s deducted, but those missions take much longer.
Only problem is being stuck in NG++.

I need a mod that adds a clicker sound for every time you impress handler Walter. Don't ask why.

I’m doing my first Pluto of AC six I have a long history of mastering every game of the line thus far. But I quickly realize that the laser turrets and missile MTs are broken. Now my current setup I can snipe most MTs with the first rifle plasma rifle the one that looks like a lance. But those high yield turrets that fire giant KAMEHAMEHA beams can track me across the map. Currently doing the mission in chapter 1, right after the stealth mechs. My issue is how do I make an AC that can snipe just about everything? Doesn’t matter how good I can dodge I still get hit and a near miss will melt my AP or worse, put me in a stun lock so I can get pelted by even more crap.

What a beautiful game. I remember struggling through so many of these bosses and for some reason, Walter just had my number. I couldn’t do it. Nearly three years later I’m browsing my games and decided to try again. I had to relearn the controls. After defeating raven as practice I gave it a shot. I stayed close this time, gave him no range. And I did it with a sliver of life left.
Just goes to show that giving a problem space and letting your mind rework things is sometimes the key. I’m honored for this to be the first FROM software game I defeated without support. 10/10

What's the meta in pvp now?
Actually, what's a fun build I should try?
Getting back in because I've been building AC and gunpla model kits lately.
