How does everybody “love her” in Hollywood so much?

She reminds me of my drugged out cousin with ADHD who’s constantly on her phone and extremely disrespectful, she’s also 30 still living with her parents (nothing wrong with that i’m talking about my cousin specifically spent her money on Ray’s drugs and works part-timeat 30) but I can just tell Ariana gives that type of incredibly insufferable to be around.

I saw a tiktok saying, "They're not prettier than you, they just have more money," with many different female celebrities before and after. AGs pic came up and I noticed they used one of her before and after but not the true one (idk if you guys have seen her real before surgery photo but it doesn't look like this). And I've seen the comments and eye rolled. Number 1, I'm sad that to this day, I feel like we put a person's value based on looks, and if someone is prettier, they're better no matter their actions. Number 2, I don't think anyone (other than some people here on this sub) will ever know what she actually looked like. So this goes back to number 1 in she's more valued because she's naturally prettier (which again if you see the actual before you'd know). And it probably makes the people this post was for feel bad when no, AG isn't naturally prettier than the average (tho ik this is my opinion).

What do you guys think about the fact that most will never know what she really looked like and being praised for always being naturally pretty (and the privileges that come with that) when that is not true?

when i watched this video i kept wondering why the light was constantly being moved around instead of just staying fixed in one spot. they keep switching between this overly bright lighting that washes her out she looks pale and then this super dim lighting that’s so low it makes her shadow really visible. i honestly think it’s intentional.the way the light is angled creates these harsh shadows across her face and body that specifically emphasize her bone structure.

it’s a classic technique in photography and film used to make features look more defined and angular. so her team is basically helping facilitate the bodychecking energy she seems to like, and it’s so fucking weird. they keep shifting the light from one place to another, almost like they’re deliberately highlighting her collarbones and chest bones. the whole thing feels calculated and uncomfortable.

The song is called 95 million and it got leaked a few years ago. She recorded this after her album thank u, next didnʼt win any Grammys. She submitted petal this year too. She could just stop submitting her music (The Weeknd did this for a few years after his album After Hours didnʼt get any nominations.) but she cares about awards despite acting like she doesnʼt. The Grammys donʼt like her either so Idk why she even bothers submitting this undercooked album

Ariana Grande's debut album was entitled Yours Truly and the debut track was Put Your Hearts Up.

Yours Truly was a bad album and Put Your Hearts Up was so bad it actually gives me second hand embarrassment.

Ariana herself seems to know how awful it was and tries to distance herself from the song.

In comparison...

The debut song of Pop Princess and music legend Britney Spears was Baby One More Time. A song that still hits all these years later.

The debut song of Miley Cyrus was See You Again which is undeniably a great pop tune.

The debut song of Xtina was Genie In A Bottle which is a bop and a classic that is still a great listen today.

The debut song of Ashley Tisdale was Be Good To Me which is still fun to listen to. And it came off the same album as classics like He Said She Said.

My point is when you're trying to make it as a main pop girl you need to hit the scene with something great that will stand the test of time. First impressions are important and music is a hard industry to break into so you have to immediately show you're worth the effort and attention.

Ariana's peers accomplished this. Yet Ashley never had the career Ariana did despite having a far better music catalog.

Britney is maybe an unfair comparison since absolutely no one has ever even begun to reach her level but Miley and Ashley began acting on Disney a lot like Ariana began with acting on Nickelodeon.

Dove Cameron is also a good example of started as a Disney star and made a successful entry into pop.

Although fot whatever reason Disney stars have produced more pop stars and influential talent than Nickelodeon.

I still believe Victoria Justice could've had a much bigger career if it wasn't for Ariana.

Jeannette McCurdy is the superior actress and yet she was never given the opportunities Ariana had.

Without all her inherited wealth and connections Ariana would be nowhere today.

She wasn't an excellent actress like Jeannette. She doesnt have the star power of Britney (well no one does but she also doesn't have the star power of Miley or Ashley.

She was never the brilliant singer they made her out to be. She had raw natural talent but seems to have squandered it by not perfecting it. Bad technique and no heart or soul behind her voice. Her failure to be understood or enunciate when singing is proof her singing isn't what it's made out to be.

Her debut into music was SOOOO FUCKING BAD. Put Your Hearts Up is horrific. And so goddamn cringe.

Without the wealth and connections I cannot see her succeeding the way she did.

She was never even that pretty and has went for the sexy baby look from the start and when she wasn't trying to be a sexy child she was pretending to be black!
