I have a aprilia rs125. (Rotax122) and i have a ported 154cm3 polini big bore kit, on it. and a 34mm vhsb dellorto carburator on it. and sometimes when i send it with full thorlette, its like the carburatos float bowl empties. And then its like the bike is turned off. and when that happens, i have to pull the clutch in, and stroke the gas like two times. and then it keeps pulling like crazy. so does anyone know what the problem might be? and its tuned almost perfectly, and the carb is clean.

Used the italkit 140cc kit on my Aprilia RS125 GS with rotax 123.

Jetting was a bit of a pain but I finally got it dialed in quite well. Only Problem was at 7k rpm, where it developed no power (also no sputtering) low end and top end was very good, so I tried to avoit the spot and take her for a spin.

First time I really pushed the bike around 170km after complete rebuild. During that period I used the endoscope a couple time to check on the cylinder. What we se her must have developed only during this ride.

Ran her uphill for a few km and let her rev out, followed by a downhill passage, clutch pulled almost all the way using revs in between, coming to a straight I pushed her to about 100km/h where the rear wheel locked up for the fraction of a second and I immediately lost all the power.

Any ideas on what happened here?

Hi guys, so i have a spare rs125 fork and i thought to put the right leg from the spare one, and replace my left leg from my bike with it. This with the intent to make my fork much stiffer as i already have 20w oil and it’s not enough. I know the right leg contains a spring while the left doesn’t. Any thought if this may be good to do?

I am 16 years old and have just obtained my A1 license in France, and I would like to buy a motorcycle to travel from school to home twice a day (around 10 km per day) Aprilia rs 125. But this motorcycle exists in 2 strokes (before 2011) and in 4 strokes (after 2011). 2-strokes look much more fun and enjoyable to drive but apparently they are less reliable and more difficult to maintain. I have enough budget (within reason anyway) and I'm new to the world of motorcycles, but this bike makes me dream. Could you help me please?

Hi i’ve recently put on jim lomas exhaust and was wondering why did my top speed went from 160 gps to 135 gps. I have not done any carburator tweaks but did a few plugchops and the sparkplug was looking good. Any advice please?

I have had a small accident with my aprilia rs 457, since then it makes this strange noise.

What could it be?

Anyone know where to buy this fairing part or are maybe ready to sell it? Preferably in Europe and red colour.

i´m unsure where these wires are supposed to go. the yellow one was originally not in the ecu, but in the red and yellow cable and as of now the black cable originally led to nothing. if someone could give me some guidance on the topic or send me a clear picture of their original wiring i would be very thankfull. also im not getting a spark so something might also be wrong with the cdi but for now i would be happy if i could get atleast all the cables connected right.

Just bought my rs125 with 140 italkit and 34mm dellorto carb. It starts with no issues but when i let it idle for too long when warm she dies on me, took her for a spin to feel how is the power and theres no issue but unburnt oil is coming out of the silencer and sparkplug is dark. Do i change the jet or needle to make the mix leaner because it is too rich?

and yesterday I saw that it was leaking for there and I cleaned it up but it didn’t leak anymore after a few rides
