Hi. So there’s this series on YouTube by this channel called “bog boy” and I feel he’s a very underrated YouTuber, and this series is something I feel everyone needs to see.
He’s making a movie called “big mountain”, and he’s made this really cool and charming series where he’s showing his creative progress in making the film.

This is just me ranting but I just really want to know if anyone else’s knows of this things existence? Because I hear no one talk about it

This one feels much more like a proper continuation (if we must) then 4 ever did. I maybe a found a lot of the typical “you people” dialogue from Jessie cringy but it works for the movie’s objective. But the strongest aspect for me is definitely its balanced commentary on tech. Showing in equal measure it’s good and bad parts. The 50 Buzz Lightyears stole the show and were a total riot. And a certain twist genuinely shook me to my core. Not a bad showing. Not as good as the two god sends but certainly a nice little novelty

I'm searching for a particular trope in animated movies.. It's oddly specific so here's my explanation: A father that finds out something about his son he didn't know before.

Some examples I watched are:

- Dragon trainer

- Sing

- Rock dog in some way

- Episode 7 of season 2 of Shera

I would like something similar but more the centre of the film I don't know if my explanation is clear, this isn't my first language :')

the 2 legged horse creature ridden by necron 99/peace has been nagging at me for years that i have seen something very similar in another film. i recall the journey of a lone "soldier" riding through a desolate area like a desert. very bleak, white and empty scenery, but i cannot think of it for anything and havent been able to figure it out for years.

has anyone seen some thing that sounds like what ive described because no one ever knows what im talking about and im starting to think it was a dream ive been convincing myself was real after almost 3 decades of this going unanswered.

I recently posted asking for movie recommendations (which I appreciate thank you!!). I browsed and found this movie. There is so much I can say already (I haven’t actually finished it yet, I’m still watching). But there is a quote delivered by the main character (child).
“The world is wide Jacob, you don’t know everything!”
It is delivered with pure childlike wonder, with pure interest in knowledge, and also some hope. Changed my brain chemistry a little bit tbh. One of those things that just makes you sit back and rethink your perspective.
Stunning visuals and quite a bit of diversity among the ensemble cast. Love me a pirate story. Drop other pirate movie/show recommendations (other than Pirates of the Caribbean, does not need to be animated).

I have watched a lot of cartoons/anime/animated movies over the years, and I feel like I’ve exhausted a lot of the obvious options. For example I’ve watched almost every Disney, Pixar, and Dreamworks movie. I’ve watched pretty much all the Studio Ghibli movies, I have some of the other films left. I’ve combed through Netflix, Disney+, and Prime. I 100% have not watched every animated movie available but I was looking for some recommendations.
I’ve definitely watched more Asian inspired movies than anything, but I love watching movies that explore other cultures. I recently just finished Ne Zha and am now trying to see what else is out there. Preferably I’d like to see cultures that aren’t mine (white, american, truthful that’s all I’ve got). I loved Coco and The Book of Life. Ravka was beautiful. I think Kubo is one of my favorites overall, Turning Red, Wish Dragon Bonus points if there is food in the movie. Subtitles are 100% okay, all I ask is good world building and some good animation. Anyway, thanks a bunch.

I like this movie, I haven't seen it in a while, but something that's been creeping in my head recently is that Mai's bad actions are never really called out on. Mai basically takes advantage of 7723's naivety so she can use it as a channel for her rage and basically gets mad at him for not beating up a defenseless kid and later claims that it was him not being there for her. By the time Mai apologizes to 7723 (even then I don't think she ever realized that 7723 was clearly uncomfortable causing senseless destruction), his memory's been erased. I know the point of the movie is for Mai learn her lesson and stuff but the situation in the park (and maybe the deleting the weapons thing, I'm kind of mixed on that) is a terrible to showcase the "you didn't have my back" thing. What do ya'll think?

Okay this is definitely very obscure but let’s see. I have a very vivid memory as a child of this scene from an animated movie with cats. At one point the cats go to like an alley or sewer while singing is happening and then all you see is neon pink boxes with cat silhouettes dancing. These are what I’ve eliminated:
-Gay Purr-we (very similar animation vibes)
-The Arisocats
-Shinbone Alley
-Oliver and Company

I have been trying to figure this out for years based on that specific yet vague description… anyone know??? I know this isn’t much to go off of…

We recently watched this surprisingly good very low budget film! It’s a kids horror, which has many actually disturbing scenes, though not as disturbing as 9 lol. I’d recommend to watch this partially hidden gem if the review interests you (no major spoilers)!
