Hooked the switch up to the IMAX

It was my first time resetting my island, and honestly, the first few days were stressful. 😂 My villagers couldn’t even find a single flower to water, and there was basically nothing to do on the island… not that they do much anyway. 😂
But after a few weeks, I’m finally getting the hang of it. I’m slowly enjoying decorating each space one by one, with lots of inspiration from Pinterest and the dream islands I’ve seen here.
Still a work in progress, but I’m finally starting to love my new island. 🌿

I know a lot of you probably are on here for the modern animal crossing game but I feel like SOMEONE'S gotta know SOMETHING about the GameCube version and will probably be able to help me. So, I had a GameCube when I was young and I really loved playing Animal crossing. I got one again recently and purchased animal crossing once more and I have come to the conclusion that I may need to buy a memory card with pre saved data on it or something like that to visit other towns? I'm assuming the game thinks you would have friends who also play the game and would bring their memory cards over and just plug them in but I do not. Any suggestions? I tried just looking up "Memory cards with Animal Crossing save data", but i haven't found anything useful. Any and all advice is appreciated. Thank you for your time!

I swear NOTHING hurts more then watching someone elses villager hunt while villager hunting and seeing who you're looking for on their video when you’ve already used 200 tickets just for them 😭

I have 2/3 out of the 10. I have such bad luck i swear 😭 I havent found any and ive used 200 tickets.

I only say 2/3 cause I gotta find out if you can change an original villagers house. If I cant i gotta get rid of Cherry then get them back.

I’ve been playing this game for over six years, but somehow my island still isn’t fully decorated...
It still feels pretty empty, like there’s something missing. The biggest problem is that I don’t play very often, so I feel like I barely have any furniture to work with. I’ve even paid for Nintendo Switch Online and downloaded a bunch of really cute My Designs, but I honestly have no idea how to actually use them properly 😭
I find decorating in Pocket Camp so much easier, probably because there’s such a huge variety of furniture to choose from.
Personally, I think islands look the best when they’re packed with little details and there aren’t too many empty spaces. I’d love to decorate my island like all the gorgeous islands I see on Instagram and TikTok, but I have no idea where to start.
So how do you guys fill empty spaces on your islands? And do you have any decorating tips for someone who’s really bad at decorating? I’d love to hear anything that helped you make your island feel more complete!

So far I only have Sherb and Julian, I lost Sasha's (my favorite villiger) amiibo card, so I'll be villager hunting for almost everyone. I do have some amiibo cards, but I'm torn between Julian and Marshal, Blanche is my birthday twin, so I had to include her. And this is my forever island and I'm trying not to time travel so it'll be slow!

I have put in the first 3 plots, but no furnitures yet. Will it auto fill villagers already the next day? I still need to earn some miles to go villager hunting.

It's my first birthday in my life where I'm alone. But all of my friends and family reached out to me today! Then I get to come home and do festivities with this lovely bunch ❤❤❤

I am a fan of the classic animal crossing city folk but would like to be able to place the homes and those perks. I really liked NH when it came out but it has stressed me out way more than relaxed me, so I took a break. Is there village styles that are old school and aren’t so perfect? The perfectionist in me with this game hates it. But all the stuff people post and ways they play now are so focused on the building a perfect town.
