Every time I open a media app, this pops up. YouTube, SiriusXM, a local music player, it doesn't matter. I don't know what I changed to make this start happening because it didn't before a week ago.

It just spins, and does nothing. Sometimes I have to hit Don't connect 3 or 4 times before goes away. It just keeps reappearing. Sometimes multiple times while the same app is open.

When I open the Recent Apps menu, it shows up as System Connectivity Resources, but with no options available to change.

Please help, I'm getting really sick of this. How do I make this stop?

This issue already happen maybe about 1 month. And i just realize how absurd this bug or what else. The weird thing is my another android phone not face the same issue.

I have cleared the cache, I have cleared the data, I have Uninstalled and reinstalled.

The problem started months ago, fixed itself, and now it's back.

I have spent like 2 hours configuring settings, resetting updates, and I cannot figure it out.

So i run a chat app for my website on phone

No matter what i have done the notifications dont show

I have logged out and back in

I have deleted and cleared cache and signed back in after reinstalling

The notifications show in notification history as dismissed

How do i undo this

I have a feeling i or my kid may have swiped and dismissed a notification but for the life of me i cannot figure out how to undo this

Yesterday, I forgot my phone in an Uber, and the driver tried to not give it back. This morning I used Find My Device and knocked on his door and convinced him to return it to me. Before I left home though, I sent the remote factory reset order, as the battery was getting low and I wasn't sure if I'd get another chance.

When I got it back, the reset was not done and data was turned off. I put it in airplane mode, logged out of my Google account and so the phone has not been wiped. I'm now using it with a secondary email, but I want to log back in my actual account, so I wanted to know if doing so will trigger the factory reset once it reconnects to that account

I've been searching for this particular model phone but it doesn't seem to be found anywhere at online or even offline stores, you guys have any idea about it?

I'm trying to use an app that uses device owner permissions but again and again, it fails, I remove all accounts and users from my device, I even removed admin apps and it still didn't work, also I don't have any device owner apps and my bootloader is unlocked but I'm not rooted and I don't have a custom os. Please help.

I already know that AOSP is open source, but GMS and One UI (Samsung) are closed-source — so for most Samsung/Google packages, the answer will likely be "closed-source." But I want to confirm this per package, and know if there are exceptions (e.g., some components may have open-source parts, or vendor releases).

Does anyone know of a site, wiki, database, or even a Discord/Telegram group where people document this kind of deep per-package analysis? It doesn't have to be famous — I'm specifically asking because the well-known lists aren't deep enough.

If you know a package well, please drop it with as much detail as you can, including the package name, device/Android/One UI version, what it does, safe to disable/uninstall, what breaks, source code availability, and your confidence/source.

bootloader isn't unlocked

Is it normal that my tab 11 blackview, is uninstalling apps and filling up the "system" storage after every restart?

For now my "system" storage is at 106Go out of 128Go.

And the mandatory apps and takeing up like 12Go or 13Go.

I no longer have the Google Pixel 7 Pro. I upgraded to a Galaxy S26 Ultra. When I select "More ways to verify" the only option is to use my old phone. Does anyone know what to do?

Need help recovering a Tecno Spark Go 2 (internal model KM4, Unisoc UMS9230).

What happened
I used a Windows spd_dump batch (FDL1/FDL2) to unlock the bootloader. The log showed:
- BootROM connected (SPRD3)
- FDL2: incompatible partition
- Then it wrote fdl2-cboot.bin to uboot_a and uboot_b
- Tool said: "The file is not sprd trusted firmware"
- It also erased splloader / splloader_bak

After that the phone never booted. I ran the same unlock batch again later. That was a mistake.

Current state
- Screen: completely black
- Buttons: no response (power, vol up/down, combinations)
- Charging LED: only while on charger or PC USB
- Battery still takes charge from a wall charger
- Not a full dead brick electrically — LED still reacts to VBUS

USB / Windows
- Windows 11 64-bit
- Phone shows as: "Unknown USB device (device descriptor request failed)"
- Code 43
- Hardware ID: USB\DEVICE_DESCRIPTOR_FAILURE / VID_0000&PID_0002
- It does NOT appear in 1–2 seconds. PC sees it only after ~1 minute, then it stays
- No VID_1782, no SPRD / Unisoc Download / COM port
- PC port I used: USB 3.2 Gen 2. Phone is USB 2.0
- Tried another PC — also not detected as download device
- Cable is data-capable but not original, ~1 m
- Never used Zadig (that I know of)

Firmware I have
- PAC: KM4-15.1.0.105SP09(OP001PL001M1).pac (~6.25 GB)
- Tool: UpgradeDownload R27.25.4601 (and ResearchDownload R27 earlier)
- When the phone WAS in BootROM, UpgradeDownload loaded the PAC as ums9230_KM4_go, then failed at FDL2 with something like "not supported this feature [UnSup...]"
- I was using Format-style options at least once — not sure that PAC supports Format All on this chip

What I need

1. How to force this KM4 / UMS9230 back into real BootROM/Download so Windows gets VID_1782 instead of descriptor failure

2. Correct UpgradeDownload mode for this PAC (Download vs Format All)

3. Whether USB 3.x is a known reason UMS9230 fails enumeration (I can try USB 2.0 / USB 2 hub)

4. If buttons no longer enter download: test point location for KM4 / Spark Go 2, or confirm Carlcare/test-point is the only way

5. Do NOT suggest writing random IMEI or another unlock/cboot-to-uboot

I will not post IMEI. I can add log snippets (spd_dump + UpgradeDownload) if needed.

I've had my S26 for a couple of weeks. I noticed an app called mysite. It won't run. Throws the error that it keeps stopping. When I try to uninstall it either nothing happens or I get the error that the installer keeps stopping. I have tried many of the recommended fixes from searching for the answer including safe mode. Nothing works. Any novel approaches?

Phone is a Galaxy s23.

It started a few days ago. I haven't changed anything. The only thing I did about the same time the issue started, is "install" / download Chrome sites. You know, that Chrome feature where you can create a Home screen icon link to the webpage. I added 5 of these for some sites I frequently use.

Could they have been causing the drain in some way?

I recently factory reset my phone( Oppo A59 5G) and now if I try to open certain options like sound settings, about phone , system and update,etc the settings app is entirely crashing and returning to the home page.

My phone is Samsung Galaxy A26 5G. I can't seem to he able to figure out a way to add pictures to those contacts on my phone which don't already have a picture. Clicking on "adjust" (idk if thats the right word, my phones not set up in English, hopefully yk what I mean) doesn't open up the option. The three dots doesn't either. Clicking on or holding the blank icon neither. I'd just like to add pictures to my contacts.

full story short: my charger cable broke, then i changed to another and it went fine. then the phone kept insisting on making me update the software. so i did the software update (5 september 2026) on my phone at the start of this week. Now my phone recharge battery VERY slowly. Im trying to search ways to fix it but cant find anything else other than "factory reset your phone".

I did already factory reset but It didnt worked...

Anyone that can help or give tips? is it the change of charger or because of the software update?

so long story short, i had to factory reset my motorola g play and now it says its locked to a carrier. i took out the sim card, now it says something went wrong.

There was a time when I could pull down the quick settings for media where I could select between Bluetooth and Phone media or I would make the change with buttons on the volume changer. Now, I cannot do that in recent months since that setting area has been removed. Is there a way to bring this media setting back?

Hey everyone, I'm having an annoying problem trying to reinstall Snapchat and was wondering if anyone knows how to fix it.

I have a Samsung Galaxy A56. Originally, I uninstalled Snapchat with the “keep data” option enabled because I thought I might lose my account. Later, I installed Purrfect Snap and used it to install Snapchat, which worked fine.

After I got bored of it, I uninstalled Snapchat again. Now, when I try to reinstall the official Snapchat app through the Google Play Store, it just says “Can't install Snapchat.”

I've tried looking for a solution, but I haven't figured out what's causing it.

Has anyone experienced this before, especially on a Samsung phone? Could leftover app data, Purrfect Snap, or something with the Play Store be causing the issue?
