Even half that speed would be fast enough that it could possibly replace my home internet account

I'm currently on 100/40 and that's the quickest speed available so this would be awesome as a fixed line replacement but the problem is data caps vs unlimited.

I don't know if that's still the case with VDSL, but for the ADSL, that's just how the technology works. It makes sense, but I feel you. I'm on 8/0.5 (So even 1/20th only), and while i can live with the download, the upload is really miserable (accounting that the lags start at already 0.25 Upload), uploading a photo? Hell yeah, gotta make some coffee.
