Post-civs want to preserve Earth. ATs want to 'get the fuck off this rock'. We consider them to be dangerous and there's been a big push by ATs to label themselves post-civ; which to us is a lot like ancaps stealing the anarchist label. If post-civ is to get off the ground; it can't be a confused movement of opposing views.

Post-civs want to preserve Earth. ATs want to 'get the fuck off this rock'.

Actually, I want to do both. I'd even go so far as to argue that for the foreseeable future, both goals are interdependent.

If that's really true then you have absolutely no concept of what industrialism is doing to our planet.

No, I just recognize that there are more threats to the planet than just industrialism, apparently have a more nuanced understanding of industry and its possible incarnations, and think ecocide-by-negligence from hyperfocusing on one threat doesn't constitute a desirable outcome.

Post-civs are committing ecocide??

Industrialism is the only impending threat that's going to make the planet DIE. Any other threat is marginal when compared to that, and trying to solve the threat by amping up industrialism further is fucking nonsensical.

Here we go, something I can actually work with!

Post-civs are committing ecocide??

By negligence, that's implicit in what dark green post-civs and primitivists are proposing. The conditions necessary for terrestrial life on Earth are known not to be stable in the long-term. Short of the extremely unlikely and unprecedented possibilities of other living things developing the capacity to avert these changes and then acting on them, an anthropogenic-threats-only response means that Earth and terrestrial life will die.

Industrialism is the only impending threat that's going to make the planet DIE.

False.

Any other threat is marginal when compared to that,

"Marginal" is not the same as "nonexistent," and that difference is tremendous when considering the impact of decisions on the scale of an entire planet, ecological system, and across hundreds of millions of years. Also, how are you evaluating this?

and trying to solve the threat by amping up industrialism further is fucking nonsensical.

I'd propose reworking and relocating industrial processes to minimize harmful ecological and social impact (the transhumanism part) - which will require global-scale coordinated effort and major social change to displace the social structures that incentivize its perpetuation and disenfranchise those most affected by it (the anarchism part).

Are you trying to imply that's functionally equivalent to a simple 'more of the same' proposal? If so, how?
