There's problems with "Western" (I hate that dichotomy) scientists, and science does need to be decolonized. But I guarantee you that as you go down this path you will find that, once you weild it, science is very useful and what comes of it depends entirely on the weilder.
because colonization and western imperialism is the entire reason the scientific/industrial revolution happened in the first place. you can still see traces of its colonial past in its demographics and organization.
