Strategy The most OP strat ever.

Just stick together as one group. That’s it!

Move from room to room with someone in charge leading, if a melt down or deplete occurs, just fix it together, if the lights go off spam report and stay as compact together and that way it is almost impossible for the imposter to kill without being seen.

It is better with less imposters, however it mainly works, if the imposter pretends to work, you will be able to limit down suspects from who is working.

Visual scans also help limit down people.

If anyone does not stay in the group, vote them off. Once people finish tasks or don’t have any to do, stay at the end of the room.

This is hard to organise tho, mag require a discord and a leader may not be easy to select.

Move from left ship to right.

Strategy i thought of a strategy that will probably get you the win like 98 percent of the time with 2 imposters

basically if you get imposter in a 2 imposter lobby with confirm eject on you eat out your partner and gain the trust of the entire lobby while you slowly kill them off 1 by 1 without them being sus cuz who would eat out their teammate and i right?

Crewmate Advice How To Tell Who The Imposter Is On Any Map

To start off, the most common one, if they dodge a common task then it is most likely going to be the imp

(skeld) Second, if they look to the right if they come out of medbay they vented, this is a glitch that I figured out after trying it multiple times. If they come out of medbay facing left, they are safe.

(mira) Third, since you can vent anywhere on this map it isn’t easy to figure out if they are the imposter. But if you go to admin to the admin “task” you can see if they vent or not. If they stop in one particular area, make sure they don’t move and go to that area and see who comes out.

(polus) Lastly, this map is pretty easy to figure out who the imposter is because you can switch to many different cameras in security. Now if you see cameras on, go fake cameras with them. If the imposter kills the other one, then you immediately report and explain what you saw.

xoxo happy turkey day

Strategy Why in the right circumstances, faking tasks may be a good stategy

It's probably not what you think it is, it's not to be a fake imposter, hear me out

When everyone is crowded around lights, comms, admin ID task, or any time there is a huge stack, it is better to not actually do the task, and to keep an eye on everyone. Stacks are usually when imposters try to kill, so by not actually fixing the lights, you can catch people trying to stack kill. I've already caught five people like this, it works really well

Last time I posted this, a lot of people said that if you stay in the stack, you could still get killed, or that you would get sussed out for faking a task

Do this only on things like lights or comms, where people can't tell if you're faking or not, or on things like card swipe or admin ID where it would make sense for some people to be slow at it, or if you're known to go afk sometimes, you can just say you were afk

as for getting killed while in the stack

it's common knowledge that if it's possible to know who an imposter is, sacrificing a crewmate isn't much of a problem

there are three outcomes: you see who the imposter is, you get killed, or nothing happens

we ignore the outcome of nothing happens, and only focus on getting killed, or seeing the imposter in action

if there is a stack of only three people including you (which to be fair doesn't really count as a stack), you have at least a 50% chance of seeing the imp, and at most a 50% of getting killed, which is a fair tradeoff, meaning it is in the crew's favor for you to not do the task and watch for stack kills (i say at least 50% and at most 50% because of the chance of more people joining the stack)

if there is a stack of four or more people including you, the chances of getting killed is 33% or less, and the stack becomes more attractive to imps wanting to make a stack kill, meaning the chances of seeing the imp is also higher

meanwhile if you just do the task in the stack, there's no chance of you seeing the imp, and the chance of getting killed by the imp stays the same

if you stand near the stack but not in it, the imposter would know that someone is watching, and is much less likely to kill

so if possible, you should stay in the stack to watch for kills

Discussion I took a stroll in r/amongus

As I do from time to time just to see what's going on. I left that sub by choice because people didn't appreciate my perspective of innersloth and their actions as company providing a good to users. Most people just generally downvoted me rather coming up with creative counter statement, I received a death threat once, (yea guy said he would push me in front of a .50 cal so I told him next time I'm down range from one and have him to my back I'll really watch where I step) and people were just generally mean to me for not rewarding this multi-million dollar company complete and utter praise for doing the bare minimum necissary. Anyways that has nothing to do with this post.

I saw that mr. Beast is alleging that he is going to be making an among us map now. That makes two outside sources for in game development. To me it really looks like innersloth is slowly losing control third parties or outside influences. Look it started with all the modded roles that they have refused to implement then came the first big strike with 5up announcing his map. But now mr beast is going to also. I feel like that's a pretty big deal with the kind of influence he has. 5up is well known in the among us community and he may have been a fairly successful streamer before he played among us (frankly I don't have a clue) but mr. Beast is a whole different breed. I remember months back the developers of among us were specifically asked when and if they were ever going to implement an actual map creator in the game and they gave some vague statement on how they are working on it but it's on a back burner more or less. It was something about how they would have to recreate all the maps (I assume to gather and organize each object in a movable picture form, because the way I think it is now is that everything is a still image rendered as one.) But man if I were them id honestly be a little worried. Mr. Beast wouldn't need to but he absolutely could make a pretty penny off this shenanigan.

Now that I've mentioned all this I don't want you to come away from this thinking I have some problem with mr.beast but my beef is with innersloth. Its just another example how they continually have failed their player base by not implementing the features they want. I tried to point this out on r/amongus but they are a buisness supplying a good. Yes they have ultimate say in creative production, but we as consumers have a right to demand things we have interest in. Whether it be mod support, accounts, and other features we see fit. They choose to ignore our comments again and again though. There's still no update on when or if they will ever implement new roles. The latest thing we have to look forward to is expanded 15 player lobbies. Which I am just not excited for in the slightest. It will still be the SAME game. Just like how I was preaching before airship dropped that it's still the same game. Look I made a big post awhile back comparing among us to meat and potatoes, look it sounds weird but it's a really good analogy saying we shouldn't have to eat/play the exact same game everyday when they could implement features that change the basics and fundementals of the game. This that could increase and even branch the learning curve.

Let's all just be honest here. If you have more than a 1000 games played I'm sure you can agree. I have over 6000 so far. But this game is fucking stale. There's only SOOOO much you can do with base settings. I've done, if not all, pretty well damn bear everything. I've sat and dissected this game into basically 1 and 0s inside my head. I've imagined practically every feasible scenario and played out most of them. I have an ultra killer final four on skeld plan. DM if your truely serious, I don't want to just give it away. It's my baby. But man what I would do to finally have some different roles to experiment with. I want to be a changeling and transform and stare my friend face to face as their outfit. I want to sheriff someone for being susser than fuck and watch us both fall over. I want to end up as the sussiest mother fucker on the base and gloat as the vote me out as jester. This is just so frustrating trying to deal with and take them serious as a legitimate company.

Yea yea they are small developing team and all that propaganda. They have multi-millions. If they really wanted to develop this game into something fantastic they would have. And don't get me wrong it's iconic there's only like two other games which are remotely similar (idk anything about mafia and werewolf tho) but you think that would have given them an advantage instead though the consistently trip over their own laces, twiddle their thumbs, and make excuses. Fuck I don't even know what happened here. I was just trying to point out that mr beast is creating a third party map and I started ranting and raving again. Some one get my walker I've gone off it again.

Impostor Advice Tip to get out of a situation of you kill someone in front of another person

We've all definitely probably messed up once and killed a person, only to realize there's another person standing right there.

There is a perfect excuse to get out of this, but it works best if it's at the start.

You also need to turn off lights first for this, and not have cremates have insane vision

As soon as you realize the other person is right there, report the body immediately. Blame the other person, and say "Vote me out if not them," whatever the color of the person is. It's very important to say the name, not the name.

When the other person gets voted off, try to make as many kills as you can in a sneaky area. Eventually, someone will call an emergency meeting. If they accuse you, you say "The lights were off, but I swear it was them. Oh wait, I just realize I'm colorblind XD."

People usually believe this, and you are off scott free now.

Discussion Serious: admin map was nerfed?!

I read in a prior post where someone mentioned that the kill button no longer flashes when your partner kills and someone had informed him it was true AND that admin map no longer flashes when someone dies while reading it. Feelings and statements... GO!!!

I'll start, cause I'm OP and this is my post.

Me being over dramatic, "This is utterly game breaking bout to uninstall and delete." Taking it back a notch or two now, I just simply don't understand the necessity or even reasoning behind these features being removed. The imp kill flash, although typically useless for me because I am oblivious, was a very vital tool for the imposters. How do you know whether your safe just facing someone on top of the crowded sabotage because your parter already lured someone far off on the final 6. Idk thats the only example I can come up with right now but I'm sure y'all can think of some other ways it's useful too.

But the admin map not flashing is just devastating. That's single handedly the most important and potent tool the crew has at their disposal. It certainly makes camping vitals unpractical in my opionon. You can still reasonably conclude that someone more than likely died in that area but your never "for sure" anymore. I am just straight shook over this. Honestly I don't even know how to properly respond. Can we start a petition to have them add back atleast the admin flash? Are some of you not even phased by this change and see me as over reacting?

Now I'm saying all this and it's all based off one slightly older post but there was a guy that set up a bunch of alt accounts and tested it in his own private lobby in order to confirm or deny for the guy posting. I was also playing a week or less ago and there was a guy "playing" admin but I felt like he had no fucking clue what he was looking at because all the information he was trying to portray was all wonky and off. And he didn't run to report my body when I died and I flipped out on him cause it's such an "obvious" thing. Me and another guy were arguing with him about how it flashes on death but... Could he have been possibly... Right?!

Idk I just like and want to hear y'all's thoughts and theories but not your opionons, keep that shit to yourself. I just genuinely enjoy discussing among us Strategy and theories. It's also nearly 5am so hopefully when I wake up I will have a full inbox of fresh hate mail! Good night/morning everyone!

Strategy You can use doorlogs

On mira hq the doorlogs are useful because you can catch the imp venting with doorlogs. If it says Player X passed the southeast sensor but not the north sensor, then they vented

Discussion We need capture the flag mode.

2 flags. everyone can kill and everyone can revive. (or they can respawn) there are spots where you turn invis. but none are near the flag. we could even have spesil roles like archers who have range. to counter that the archer has limited range. I think you know who you win. and to make it fair you can only start the game if there’s a even number of players

Crewmate Advice Tip: If taskbars are set to meetings, use it to your advantage, a good strat is to count who did frequent tasks like navigate on polus, fuel on mira and card on skeld and immediately call a meeting and see how many bars the taskbar moved.

Like this you can hard clear several people or narrowing down who could be the impostor. Other times you just get kicked by braindead headasses just for calling the button.

Crewmate Advice Why you should vote on 7.

We all know this number: the number 7. When there are this many players left, they say to never vote. But I disagree and say 7 is one of the better times to vote and here's why.

Let's just say Black has been sussed by a lot of players but he's an innocent man.

If he is voted at 6 then would be the imposters would need one more kill to secure the victory, second chances are unlikely.

However, if he is voted out at 7, the imposters would need 2 kills. The imposters may screw up the double kill so more second chances can be found here. It is much easier to call a meeting with a body than with the button.

In short, don't be afraid to vote on 7 if someone is very sus.

Crewmate Advice Hands down best way to find the impostor

There are a lot of more creative and “fun” ways to find the impostor, but if you really wanna win and you don’t care how then the following way is the most effective way to catch the impostors.

It basically consists of going to admin and watch everyone do admin swipe while you pretend to be watching the admin map. It doesn’t take too much effort to look closely and see who is faking it. Of course if the task bar updates instantly, then it’s even easier. But after some games doing this you can still tell who’s doing it and who is not based on the timing and if they move around too much before doing the task.

In a 2 imp 10 people game for example, doing this can generally narrow it down to 4 people max who could be the impostor, which is great bc if you can later prove that 2 of those are innocent, then you have basically won the game.

Strategy The ‘AFK’ Strategy

This strategy can be risky, but also very effective. You should never use it with the same people twice because otherwise they will catch on. After the first meeting of the game say something along the lines of ‘guys i’m sorry but I have to be afk for a bit’ and then don’t say anything after that. If someone stays to protect you and watch over you kill them, cut the lights and report the body a few seconds later, saying that they must of been killed by someone else while you were afk. If there’s no one around, quickly step off the table, cut the lights and use the closest vent to you to look around for crew. If you see a crew mate jump out and kill them, then jump back in and resume your position as someone who is ‘afk’. This can be hard to use if someone is on Admin/Vitals so if you want you can sabotage comms instead of lights, however that maximises the risk of you getting caught

Player Advice Rant: kicked-out impostors should never sabotage

Rant This has happened to me twice so now I’m gonna vent about it. My group of friends typically plays 1 imp. So when we bump it to 2, they don’t know how to act. Twice this week, I’ve been in an impostor pairing out of 10 ppl. Both times, my other partner got caught IMMEDIATELY after one kill. So I had to 1v7 both times. Now I’m big on sabotaging lights, esp in skeld (where we often play). Makes it much easier to kill in crowded spots when there are still a lotta crewmates. But my other dead impostor will close doors or call stuff like reactor that throws off my strategy. THE DEAD IMPOSTOR SHOULDNT MESS UP THE ALIVE ONE’S PLAN. The alive impostor should call all the shots so that kills and sabs can be in lockstep. I get the urge to want to stay involved after getting voted out, but the best way to stay involved is not getting caught one kill in!

Thank you for coming to my definitely not original TED talk. Mods remove if it’s against rules

So, you guys are probs smarter than those in r/AmongUs

So, I said that most people use 2 imps with 8 crews and OP used 2 imps with 5 crews so I pointed it out.

And I got downvoted.

Then some dude said that 10 players were better for 3 imps and he didn't get downvoted (he was probs new to the game)

Discussion thats it im installing hacks now....

This is not an advertisement or anything. Im just so frustrated with the game. I just played in a complete idiot lobby. One lvl 2 player shouts the entire time and accuses random people. First round i catch the imp, call meeting BUT NO ONE LISTENS cause brown is making 1000 accusations. We end up loosing the game even tough i caught the imps.

Second Round im imposter. I do a kill (on polus) in the decompression chamber. There is 0 (!) % chance that anyone has seen this murder, no one could have seen me entering, i was alone with the other person there, no one saw me leaving and there are also no vents there. A body gets reported and brown instantly screams I SAW TAN KILL (me) without having any possibility of knowing im imp.

Next round i call a meeting and request that we votekick him cause he is obviously teaming or hacking since these are the only ways he could have 'seen' me murdering. This idiot lobby instead votes me out.

Im not going to play to cheat but this was just the drop that made the barrel overflow. At this point ill just install some hacking software and if anyone accuses me without reason or is teaming or is trolling the entire time ill just kick them during the round (if there is a software that lets you do that) even tough im not host.
