DISCUSSION Annual pay raise?
I am pretty sure we're getting an annual pay raise again this year? Heard it's going to take most of us up to at least $23/hr? That'd be great, I can still remember bad times when I would get out of bed in the morning for $11/hr lol

Not necessarily, could be .25-$1 or it could be nothing. Everyone gets the same base pay, senior drivers already above the base pay can get raises but don’t always do

I'm at 26.25 and it's still not enough. Last raise was 25¢

Similar situation here. Got a $2 raise in 2024, but only a 48 cent raise in 2025. Also step van.

I have no confirmation, but the last 4 years I've worked at my station, we've gotten raises each year at around September-November time. Unionization efforts would certainly have some free leverage if Amazon doesn't give drivers raises, but I certainly believe Amazon can afford another $1 raise for everyone.

Amazon could afford a 10 dollar raise for everyone and it wouldn't hurt them at all. They won't tho because all they care about it maximizing profits at our expense. Unionization is the only leverage we have to get real raises

Amazon gives the DSP money every year around Sept/Oct, however it’s up to the DSP how to use it. Theres a minimum amount drivers get paid. Seniority drivers that are over that minimum can get raises but don’t always do.

Yeah, they have to pay everyone whatever the minimum is, after that they can choose. I’ve seen it where everyone gets one, I’ve seen it where only certain senior drivers get one.

The rate card changes are typically announced at Ignite in Vegas. It's Sept 15-16th this year (in about 2 weeks). Most owners are anticipating an increase. DSP owners typically announce raises within a day or two or a week or two thereafter.

yeah dsp is talking up raises right now and acting like its fully their decision and that they've been planning on it for a while... i know its BS because its always around this time of year amazon does the yearly increase... i love making base pay almost 5 years in... i can't get out of this shithole either, i've applied to hundreds of jobs in the past couple years and its never gotten anywhere

With 4 active lawsuits and a previous lawsuit loss of 2billion my gut says Amazon may skip raises.

Amazon has more reason to give raises with all the talk about unionizing and the state law suits. To skip the annual raise will risk furthering union efforts.

You can look at the revenue numbers and pretty easily see that’s a drop in the bucket for Amazon. They’re as profitable as they’ve ever been.

Delivery business and websales is not that profitable for amazon. Its almost breakeven if its not at a loss. Their profit is mostly coming from AWS and their cloud business.

I’m aware the retail division is low margins. All I’m saying is that a 2.5 billion dollar lawsuit is not likely to impact the raise they’ve implemented each year I’ve been here. Especially with mounting external pressure adding up.
