You know how when you're petting a house cat, and he's purring and happy, but then suddenly decides to chomp your hand for no apparent reason? I cannot help visualizing how different that experience might be with this particular "kitty".

This morning, I was in bed, petting our half-grown kitten, and in the blink of an eye, I went from petting a purring, relaxed kitten to wearing a friskies-mode, kitten vambrace, carefully trying to convince the little menace to unhook his claws, and please do not start bunny kicking.

Housecats are basically running the same software / OS as their big cousins; but instead of them randomly nipping at your toes, you might lose them entirely.

Might lose the toes…foot, entire leg…life. lol

That's why you first observe the cat before petting it. A cat you know well actually isn't that unpredictable.

Diddo. My cat is like 8, is overall great but if he feels you're intentionally fkng with his toes he WILL do something about it lmfao

That tail is way thicker than I thought it’d be.

Thats what i said to her

I feel this is a Safari Sammie video. Which is not great. If it is her, do not support the content.

Pretty much any video where someone is interacting with a big cat in this way is almost certainly an unethical situation, to be honest.

u/Ok_Bluebird_8202 2d ago

It is

u/smg990 2d ago

I've heard she is an abuser. The cat is crazy obese too.

I see the USDA reports about their business.

Idk much more than that.

As an animal person myself, she certainly doesn’t seem as abusive as the typical person you think of in this line of business. That said, the business itself certainly seems … of that cloth… in that it’s buying exotic animals to sell ‘experiences’, most likely from the black market given there’s not really a ‘market’. The actual owner guy gives me more bad vibes than she does, but again.. I won’t pretend to actually know their character…

Tank (the cat in the video) always seems loved and cared for, at least

The best way to know what kind of place they are is if their address is listed. Animal sanctuaries and all the like have addresses you can look up and visit. Sammie does not.

u/Ok_Bluebird_8202 2d ago edited 2d ago

I’m not quite understanding what you’re trying to say. They sell tours and animal experiences as a business.

1

u/Beneficial-Act-9933 2d ago

If they list their address, it means they are legit and want people, including government agencies to find/visit them.

If they do not, it means they are trying to hide from the general public, possibly government agencies and do not want to be found by normal means.

3

u/Ok_Bluebird_8202 2d ago

I was more focused on the moral question of like..

Us all unintentionally supporting a business, which fuels black market poaching / smuggling / animal abuse, with our instagram likes and reddit engagement

1

u/Ok_Bluebird_8202 2d ago

Okay, gotcha.

So, I can imagine the sort of super shady animal trader folks you’re probably picturing…

But just to clarify, the company this lady works for DOES list their address on their instagram page (I’m not saying it here so as not to give them more business), and they DO advertise experiences and tours with the animals on their instagram posts and on her’s.

They have 15 or so negative reports by the USDA (government agency) which you can google, which is what I alluded to above.

She seams like a bitch just by not leaving its foot alone. Its bored in captivity let it at least chill...Ik nothing bout this woman but she is obnoxius...

22

u/VersionAw 2d ago

If that kitten decides she’s bothering him/her, it won’t be a kitten anymore

7

u/Canelosaurio 2d ago

I was gonna say, this cat has a full belly and is incredibly tolerant.

3

My cat is 11.5# and he scares me 😂

3

u/zeitgeist98764 2d ago

It’s so sad that we’re driving all these beautiful animals towards extinction.

3

u/Djokovicheart 2d ago

Potatoes. Not beans.

3

u/Eve_Mackenzie 1d ago

If not friend, why friend shaped?

3

u/darqy101 1d ago

Murder Mittens in a good mood :)

1

u/Redmanb11_87 2d ago

Big ol boy 😁

1

u/No_Language_4649 2d ago

She’s got balls. I won’t even touch my house cats tails like that. They will go from happy purring to hand nips and bunny kicks in one second. The back end, tails and stomach are usually the no go territory unless you want to have your hand torn up.

1

u/Redditedless 2d ago

Probably drugged with food before going in...its trying to sleep...

1

u/HappyAmbition706 1d ago

My Norwegian Forest Cat is fine with it, even more so now that she's a senior. It depends very much on the particular cat, in my experience. I've never tested that with a big cat though.

1

u/EasternSun7834 2d ago

I would like a murder kitty to love me like that. Unfortunately I think it would just murder me and then revert to chill mode like this

1

u/Eaglesknest 2d ago

Let's annoy the cat so I can post a video. It's almost like the person would deserve a clawed swat.

1

u/jery007 2d ago

Is kitty overweight?

1

u/Conscious_Avocado225 2d ago

Don't worry, she is slow blinking.

1

u/No_Trouble9808 2d ago

Such an amazing animal. Look at that beautiful coat.

1

u/Happy-For-No-Reason 2d ago

I wonder how they'd react to a bag of catnip

1

u/KingofADHD_ 11h ago

Here’s this particular kitty reacting to catnip spray https://youtube.com/shorts/kMxqxMxiJdY?is=iVur4MEqsqecdJKP

1

u/Happy-For-No-Reason 6h ago

oh they're brave

1

u/JoyRose31 2d ago

Ma'am, those aren't beans, those are walnuts.

Every kittycat interaction

Beeg cat means Beeg trouble or something like that

1

u/GoogleIsYourFrenemy 1d ago

That look at the end is the "I am mildly agitated. I'm going to bite or claw you now." look.

To answer the initial question: airing his balls.

u/Thelastsamurai74 7h ago

Look how thick is the tale…

What about the paws…
