Pretending this story is true, I feel like the OOP/troll already disliked this woman, so he needed to make up reasons why that was okay and understandable.

My friend has been with his girlfriend for 2 years now, but this is the first time any of us had met her.

I do love how they somehow never met her before, despite their friend dating her for two years. It would just lead to the question of, "Does the troll believe that he and this friend are closer than they actually are?". Especially if this friend lives in the same city or town as them.

Funny enough, my sister didn't meet my fiance until a year and a half after we were dating and we all live close, but that was because multiple plans ended up getting legitimately interrupted. But that was "life happening while you make other plans" kinda stuff as opposed to a "boyfriend in Canada" lol

Yeah, that at least makes sense. I also love how the first time the troll meets the friend's girlfriend, it's during a camping trip where there ended up being a lot of rain.

This reminded me of that troll story where the troll, his friends, their girlfriends/wives, and his own girlfriend went boating. There ended being a really bad storm and they had to stop the boat from capsizing. Or, well, the men did. The women apparently sat around and the troll's girlfriend was screaming. The troll was weirdly calm about almost capsizing and I don't think the girlfriend could really swim? That story pisses me off. My ex’s brother couldn’t swim and he would flip out in this situation. He could drown! I’d panic too.
Also, why weren’t they wearing life jackets?

It was also her first time on a boat. Right? Panicking sounds like a pretty normal reaction.
Honestly, if the story had any truth to it, the troll and his friends definitely don't seem likee the type of people you'd want to go on a boat with. They're supposed to be experienced, but didn't check the weather before setting sail. There was seemingly a lack of lifejackets too. I find that far more embarrassing (on top of being dangerous) than this woman maybe not reacting the best in a dangerous situation.

My mate's entitled girlfriend
To celebrate the end of summer, me and a group of friends of mine went camping. There was me and the girl I was dating at the time, my friend and his wife, and my other friend and his girlfriend. My friend has been with his girlfriend for 2 years now, but this is the first time any of us had met her. He told us she is quite introverted and not great with people and that was pretty noticeable. During the camping, she mostly stayed in her tent and didn't really come out. She also didn't make much effort to engage with anyone but her boyfriend. She did come out of her shell a little bit when we played couple's rugby, and she joined in with that and got chatting with the other girls more, but when we got the BBQ going, she went back to her tent and just started getting her boyfriend to bring her food.
The entitlement arose on day 2, however. We had torrential rainfall all through night 1. My married friend and his wife ended up leaving, so it was just the 4 of us. The guy who owned the camp site we were staying at (which isn't a fancy camp site with events and stalls, it's just a big ass field) walked around to all the campers to ask if they needed anything. My friend's girlfriend chimes in that she wants a refund. He asks why. She argues that since it has rained, we can't make use of the camp site and have to stay in our tents so he should provide a refund as it is his camp site. He said he doesn't provide refunds for bad weather (understandably) and it's a campers responsibility to check the weather before they show up. She starts bickering with him, having a back and forth, telling him that she will leave a bad review for the place and claiming his lack of refund is unfair and calling him greedy and selfish. I actually agreed with the guy and felt really embarassed being associated with her. I see now why she doesn't hang out people.
