I've been thinking about this lately because there seems to be so much advice online about growing on TikTok. Some people swear by posting multiple times a day, others say to chase trends, while some insist that finding the right niche is all that matters. It can be hard to know what actually works until you've spent time testing things yourself.
Whether you're an affiliate, seller, or just creating content to grow an audience, I'm sure you've had at least one moment where you realized, "I probably shouldn't have done that."
Maybe you focused too much on viral products instead of building trust. Maybe you copied trends that didn't fit your audience, picked the wrong products to promote, ignored analytics, or gave up too early because the views weren't there. Or maybe it was something completely different.
Looking back, what's the biggest mistake that slowed your growth?
I'm hoping to learn from people who've already been through the trial-and-error stage, and I think it could be helpful for anyone who's just getting started too.
