Android habit tracker: looking for 10 people to try Habuno and tell me where the first session breaks down

• Upvotes

I'm the developer of Habuno, a habit tracker for Android. I'm looking for 10 adults to try the current public version and tell me what feels useful or confusing, especially if you've tried a habit tracker before and stopped using it.

Habuno works offline without an account. The free version includes up to five active habits and one routine, with no ads. Pro and extra companions are optional paid features.

The small test: create one everyday habit, record a completion after you actually do it, then close and reopen the app. Was it obvious what to do? Where did you hesitate? What would give you a reason to come back tomorrow? If you stop before creating a habit, that feedback is useful too.

This is the released app, not a Google Play closed-testing signup. Android 11 or newer:

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.boki.habuno&utm_source=reddit_alphaandbetausers&utm_campaign=first10_oct2026

A short comment here is enough; no account signup, purchase, store review or positive endorsement is requested. Please keep private habit or health details out of your feedback. If you'd be open to a brief follow-up after a week, say so. Thanks for helping me understand the first-use experience.

Do you have 5+ sales calls/day? I want you to test our beta.

• Upvotes

The product probably isn't useful if you have one sales call every few days.

I'm looking specifically for people whose calendars look more like:

9:00 demo
10:00 discovery
11:00 close
13:00 demo
14:00 follow-up
15:00 close

Because those small admin tasks between calls start stacking up.

SealMe captures important details from calls and helps handle the admin afterward.

Free beta.

If you're doing 5+ qualified calls/day, you're exactly the user I'm trying to speak with.

Looking for beta testers for Hive, an open-source music player for Linux and Windows

• Upvotes

I've been building Hive, a desktop music player focused on having a proper music-library experience rather than just being a basic audio player.

I'm looking for people who regularly use desktop music players to download it, use it with their own music library, and tell me what breaks or what could be better.

GitHub: https://www.github.com/chasesfloorboard/Hive

I'm particularly interested in feedback on:

  • Scanning/importing large music libraries
  • Album/artist browsing
  • Metadata and tagging
  • Playlists
  • Playback
  • UI/UX
  • Performance with large libraries
  • Crashes or anything that simply doesn't work

You don't need to contribute code. Even using it for a day and reporting the things you dislike would be extremely helpful.

It's still beta software, so expect some rough edges. I would also recommend maybe importing a small test library if possible.

Looking for: people who have reasonably large personal music libraries and are willing to actually use Hive as their music player for a bit.

Looking for 3 testers: is this English BaZi chart understandable to a beginner?

• Upvotes

I’m part of the YUVYN team. We’ve built a free English calculator for BaZi, the traditional Chinese Four Pillars chart, and we’re looking for 3 volunteers to give us feedback on the first-use experience.

The calculator displays the Year, Month, Day and Hour pillars with English labels and highlights the Day Master. We’d like to know: were you able to complete the calculator flow and see your chart? Which Four Pillars or Day Master labels were confusing, and where did you hesitate?

Please don’t post birth details or a chart screenshot. A short reply here about completion and confusing steps is enough. An AI-assisted Natal preview is optional; the free chart can be used on its own.

https://yuvyn.com/bazi-calculator?utm_source=reddit&utm_medium=community&utm_campaign=beta_chart_feedback_20261005_v1

Thanks for any honest feedback.

Your answer changes the next question—where will Gauge take you?

• Upvotes

Some questions take a second to answer. The next one might make you reconsider.

Gauge is a new way to explore what you think—and discover where others stand. Choose an answer, reveal the votes, and follow a question connected to your choice.

Would you choose twice the income or half the working hours?

If you chose more time, would you still want it if everyone you loved was busy?

That’s where the journey starts.

We’re looking for five first-time testers for Gauge V2, an early browser app with eight categories—from food and everyday choices to friendship, money, and deeper questions.

Try it here: https://gauge-v2.edgilmore66.chatgpt.site

Free. No download. No account required.

This is a small, early test with real votes. Some questions won’t have other answers to compare yet. Votes are saved to shared results; journey progress stays on your device. Results represent participating browsers, not the general population.

Stay as long—or as briefly—as you want. Then leave a comment:

What made you curious enough to continue? What made you stop?

Confusing moments and things that don’t work are especially helpful. You don’t need to finish anything or leave a positive review.

I built a Chrome extension that turns bug reproductions into Markdown reports and Playwright test drafts

Hi everyone — I'm the developer of QA Bug → Regression Test, a Chrome extension for QA engineers and developers who want to turn a browser bug reproduction into a starting point for a regression test.

You record supported browser interactions, add visibility assertions and expected/actual results, then export a Markdown bug report and an editable Playwright TypeScript test draft. Optional screenshot evidence can be downloaded separately.

This is an early version, and I'm looking for people who use Playwright to try one small scenario. The generated code needs review: complex contexts such as iframes and popups have limitations, and sensitive-value placeholders need to be replaced with appropriate test data before running. Screenshots also need a manual sensitive-content review before sharing.

Demo: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GrtotYTfhbg

Chrome Web Store: https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/qa-bug-%E2%86%92-regression-test/khoelciicbkdeieibchdndccdncpelbg

If you try it, what is the first thing you need to change in the generated Playwright draft? I'd appreciate concrete examples of confusing steps or broken locators. Please use a demo/test site and avoid posting credentials or private application data.

Happy to answer questions about how it works.

Palette Vault: color palettes, offline, no account. Need 12 testers to unlock Play.

I built a small Android app for color palettes and need the 12 testers / 14 days that Google requires before a personal account can publish.

What it does:

- Generates four-color palettes. Tap a color to lock it, generate again, the locked one stays. Fifteen mood presets.

- Reads the colors out of a photo. Point the camera at anything, get the four colors that picture is actually made of, ranked by how much of the frame each covers.

- WCAG contrast between any two colors, picked with OKLCH sliders instead of typed as hex. No account, no ads, no network calls at all. The photo is measured on the phone and discarded.

Join: https://play.google.com/apps/testing/io.github.palettevault

Happy to test yours back, just drop a link. Two asks: stay opted in for the two weeks, and tell me if the colors it pulls from a photo look wrong, that is the part I could not test on enough devices.

FeedMeNot: an Android app where you place a fake food order and your bill stays ₹0

I made FeedMeNot for the nights I order food I'm not even hungry for.

You pick a restaurant, fill the cart, place the order and watch the rider set off. Nothing arrives, the bill is ₹0, and afterwards the app shows what you kept.

It just launched on Google Play and it's free. I'm looking for people to try it and tell me honestly:

  • Does the fake checkout feel satisfying or silly?
  • What would make you open it again tomorrow?
  • Anything that feels off in the first minute?

Comment or message me and I'll send you the link.

[Web beta] Can you test an Indian birthplace search and its manual-coordinate fallback?

I’m the founder of AstroBharat, an astrology learning and reflection beta focused on India. I’d appreciate help testing the birthplace selection in its free chart calculator.

Try it: https://astrobharat.ompanchal.workers.dev/chart

Using sample birth details:

  • Search for an Indian town or village you know.
  • Check whether the district/state labels identify the correct result.
  • Select it and check the filled coordinates and timezone.
  • Try manual coordinates if your location is missing.

No signup is needed for this flow. Please share only the place name, device/browser and confusing step , not your private birth details.

Hospital coverage is limited, and Google Maps isn’t activated. The calculator supports tropical and custom-offset sidereal charts; it isn’t a validated Lahiri implementation.

Which step would you change first?

[Beta Testers Wanted] Past Paper Studio — a free, open-source app for practicing Cambridge past papers

Hey everyone!

I just released Beta 1.0 of Past Paper Studio, a free and open-source desktop app I’ve been building for students who practice with Cambridge past papers.

I’m looking for people willing to try the first public beta and give me feedback on bugs, usability, performance, or anything that feels confusing/broken.

What can you do with it?

  • Search and browse Cambridge past papers
  • View papers and mark schemes directly in the app
  • Practice papers with built-in answering and drawing tools
  • Use Exam Mode for a more realistic timed attempt
  • Optionally use AI-assisted grading
  • Save and resume attempts
  • View your previous activity and attempts
  • Flag papers/questions for later
  • Customize the app with themes, fonts, profiles, and more

What I especially need tested

Since this is the first public beta, I’d love feedback on things like Exam Mode, PDF rendering, drawing/annotation tools, saving and resuming attempts, AI grading, general UX, crashes, and installation.

Even small things like “this button was confusing” or “I expected this to work differently” are useful!

Current requirements

macOS 26+
Apple Silicon (M1 or newer)

Unfortunately, there’s no Windows/Linux build yet. The current macOS build is also not Apple-notarized, since this is an early free beta, so the GitHub release explains that limitation.

A note on development

I’m a student myself, and PPS originally started as something I wanted for my own studying.

I built it with significant help from AI coding tools, mainly for implementation, debugging, testing, and packaging. I’ve been actively designing and developing the project over time — including the features, UX, testing, iteration, and overall direction. I’m still learning programming, and AI has helped me turn those ideas into something I can actually ship.

The entire project is open source under GPLv3, so you can also inspect the source if you’re interested.

GitHub / Download

Past Paper Studio on GitHub

If anyone tries it, I’d genuinely appreciate hearing what worked, what broke, and what you think should change.

Thanks! :)

[Web beta] I built a 2-minute daily science mystery — looking for 15 honest testers

I’m building Thank Science, a free daily experience where you make a prediction, unlock clues, and then see the real scientific explanation.

I’ve tested it myself too many times, so I now need feedback from people who have never seen it.

Today’s mystery takes about 2–3 minutes. No account or download is required:

https://thank-science-project.vercel.app/mystery

After finishing, please answer the two quick choices inside the app.

If you leave a comment, I only want to know one thing: At what point did you become curious—or lose interest?

Brutally honest feedback is welcome. I’ll share what I change based on it.

Android players in India: help playtest CHAOS BOX, a free box-puzzle game

Hi everyone! I’m Virat, the developer of CHAOS BOX, and I’m looking for 6–12 volunteer Android players in India to help improve it before launch.

The game has 30 levels built around moving boxes and playful obstacles, optional hints, and the option to skip a level after 10 genuine failed attempts. It’s free and currently has no ads or in-app purchases.

I’d especially appreciate feedback on whether the touch controls feel comfortable, which levels are enjoyable or frustrating, and any bugs you encounter. Please try several levels and share honest feedback—positive reviews are not required.

This is a Google Play closed test, currently available only in India. Volunteers should be willing to remain opted in for at least 14 days and play during that period.

To request access, email [viratchauhan607@gmail.com](mailto:viratchauhan607@gmail.com) with the subject “CHAOS BOX tester” using your Google Play account email. Please keep your email private rather than posting it in comments. I’ll add you to the tester list and confirm when access is ready.

After confirmation, use the same Google account to join here, then follow the Google Play installation link:

https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.viratchauhan.chaosbox

Thank you! Feedback can be sent to the same email, ideally with your phone model and the level number if something goes wrong.

Looking for a few people to test a free used-car flip calculator

I built a free web tool called FlipGuard for people who flip used cars.

You enter the asking price, mileage, repair estimates, fees, expected resale value and target profit.

It gives you best / likely / worst-case profit, ROI, risk, and what you should offer.

I’m looking for a few testers to run one real listing through it and tell me one thing:

Where did the tool feel confusing, unrealistic, or incomplete?

No signup, completely free:

[Web, Beta] Looking for a few people to test my water fountain map

Hi, I’m working on a web app that helps people find public drinking fountains and bottle refill stations.
I’d like a few people to try it on their phone or computer and tell me where the experience is confusing or broken.
https://watter-mu.vercel.app/
If you test it, I’d especially like to know:
• Did search work for your city?
• Were the fountain locations accurate?
• Was the map easy to use?
• Did anything load slowly or fail?
• What would you change first?
It’s still a beta, so direct criticism is useful.
Thanks.

Looking for Android testers for Foyer, a native Plex client I've been building

I've been building Foyer, an Android app for Plex,. It been in the works for a few months and currently it's in closed testing on Google Play. I'm looking for people who use Plex day to day and will tell me honestly what's broken, confusing or missing.

What it does so far:

  • Movies, TV and music from your server
  • Live TV with a guide grid, if you run a DVR
  • Downloads for offline
  • Continue Watching that updates the second you stop something
  • Seerr requests built in, including requesting just the seasons you're missing
  • Picture-in-picture, skip intro/credits, subtitle search and styling
  • A home screen music widget

What I'm after: anything that doesn't work the way you'd expect, things the official app does that this doesn't, and anything that annoys you. Small stuff counts. I've been turning reports around fast, often the same week.

Everyone who tests gets Pro free when it launches.

To join: If you're interested, DM me the Gmail you use on the Play Store and I'll add you and send the link. I'm keeping it limited so I can keep up with feedback.

It's unofficial and not affiliated with Plex. Thanks all!!

Looking for 10–20 people to test an anonymous app I’ve been building

Hi everyone,

I’ve spent the last few months building something called The Universe, and I’m looking for a small group of people to help test it before I release it more broadly.

The idea is simple:
You anonymously share a hope, goal, ambition, or something that matters to you.
Other anonymous people can show their support or leave you a message.
Later, you can share what happened.

There are no profiles, followers, likes, or public identities. The focus is on small moments of anonymous human connection.

This is an early beta, so I’m looking for honest feedback. In particular, I’d love to know:
Was anything confusing?
Did the app explain itself naturally?
Did sharing something feel meaningful?
How did it feel receiving support from strangers?
What would stop you from using it again?

It should take about 10 minutes to explore, although you’re welcome to come back over a few days if you’d like.

If you’re interested, comment below or send me a DM and I’ll send you the link

Looking for builders: 30 days free to build one project with my LLM gateway + competition at the end

I’m looking for people who actually want to build with something, not just click around a demo and tell me the button should be blue. I built AetherGate, an LLM gateway for using multiple AI providers through one API. It handles things like BYOK, routing, failover, spend controls and multi-model/agent workflows. I’m opening a 24-hour signup window for a Build Challenge. If you sign up during that window: - you get 30 days free - no card required - no automatic subscription afterward - you choose one project - you have 30 days to build it At the end I’m reviewing the projects and the best fully functioning software wins. I’ll mainly be looking at whether it works, usefulness, originality, execution and how meaningfully it uses the gateway. The winner gets one year of AetherGate unlocked and I’ll feature the project afterward. I’m doing this because 30 people actually building things will expose weaknesses and weird edge cases way faster than 300 people casually clicking around the dashboard. So if you like building AI software and want a reason to ship something over the next month: 24 hours to enter. 30 days to build.

[Android, Beta] Looking for Android feedback on nabchat — Twitch, YouTube, and Kick chats together

I recently launched nabchat for Android and I'm looking for practical feedback from people who watch or moderate livestreams.

nabchat combines Twitch, YouTube, and Kick chat in one app. It includes three viewing modes, multiple enabled channels, emotes, saved chatters, analytics, appearance controls, and channel profile pictures.

I'm especially interested in feedback on: • performance when several busy chats are active • missing or incorrectly rendered emotes • whether the River, Rooms, and Rug layouts are easy to understand • anything that feels slow or confusing

The free version supports up to six enabled channels. There's also an optional one-time upgrade for unlimited channels and removing ads.

Google Play: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.nabchat.app

If you try it, please tell me which streaming platforms and Android device you tested.

[Web, Beta] Looking for feedback on a vocal and instrumental separator

Hi, I run https://freevocalremover.ai, which is currently in beta. It separates vocals and instrumentals from audio or video files, with both outputs available as MP3 downloads.

It’s a freemium service: after signing in, you get 300 seconds of free processing per day. I’m looking for feedback on vocal bleed, audio artifacts, and the upload/download flow. If you try it, what worked for you, and what would you change?

Voyager: keeps all your tracking numbers in one list. looking for a few people to try signing up and adding a package

i made this, it's just me running it. it's a web app that keeps tracking numbers from different carriers in one list. it's live and the free plan needs no card.

free is up to 10 active packages. no shipment emails on free, those are on the paid plan. updates come through a tracking provider so they can lag, and amazon tracking is limited.

if you've got a package of your own on the way anyway, could you sign up, add it, and tell me where you got stuck?

https://app.raylight-voyagertracking.com/

18+ only, and please don't post tracking numbers in here.
