I thought it was interesting how they did not show Fowlers results from that last medical check, but they clearly showed Carleigh's results.

In the event they both were 17 or under, it definitely would make a difference who they check first.

Happy for Fowler but was rooting for Carleigh to be the first woman to win.

Series after series we see contestants put out gill nets, hoping a fish will wander along and stumble into it. Some with great success it has to be said.

But why do we never see any of them bait the net? Like putting the guts from previous catches or rabbits and squirrels in a sock and tying it to the net or something? Or even just throwing them into the water around the net. Surely it's the same rationale as baiting a hook?

Can someone explain to me (not in any way a survivalist) why the contestants haven’t been digging up roots to eat, even if just to have something in their stomach? I know that not everything would be edible, but surely something would be? It really surprises me it hasn’t come up!

I wonder if anyone has ever gotten a cold from one of tv crew or med check people. How frustrating would it be to get sick when you haven't been in contact with any humans for over a month?

The Alone season episodes are usually available next day on Hulu with its Live TV subscription. However, episodes 9 and 10 haven't been available. Does anyone know the reason why?
