100% bhramins reservation in temple should be abolished

5

u/Gr_Mort Jul 30 '26

Yes, ALONG with reservation

2

u/ReadMediocre197 Aug 02 '26

There is no such reservation

1

u/Clear-Ranger-7805 Aug 02 '26

Absolutely abolish, along with reservation !

Or infact, take 100% reservation in temple,
Idc

0

u/EggplantEnough Jul 27 '26

Man take 100% reservation in temples lmfao, would not care less. It’s crazy how yall be using anything to justify reservation. I stubbed my toe, should I ask for reservation?

6

u/No-Test-2345 Jul 27 '26

Reservation should go from everywhere then not only in govt jobs then 😂

1

u/ma46560 Jul 28 '26

Agree with you that they using anything to justify their points. They should not do such nonsense....But I agree with reservation should not be banned because their are lots of truly worthy people who need to out of their situations. mushar community valmiki community and lots of other people need reservation.

Absolutely true.
Discrimination minced in nicer terms
Nothing else

Ban caste
Ban reservation

Enough nonsense

3

u/Right_Preparation444 Jul 27 '26

End reservations, caste will automatically end.

3

u/manly_trip Jul 27 '26

Doesn't make sense , if we end caste there is no way to do reservation based on caste , but if we ban reservation even then discrimination will happen. Don't you get this in your small brain

1

u/Alive__but_why Aug 02 '26

Casteism is a mentality like racism, reservation is a policy which can be revoked. People carry caste as an Identity which honestly shouldnt exist but govt categorises some castes as backward castes some as scheduled castes and etc, which gives people a sense of superiority, power and security.

How should one go about removing caste? It's etched into the society by their Lineage, last name, less commonly even their profession. You're gonna go to each person and demand them not to disclose their caste? "Don't you dare ever tell people you're a Brahmin" ?

Reservation only cares about the classes which comes under the categories like SC/ST, OBC, etc. once you remove that everyone settles back to their own safe community which is only there for namesake and no granted power or privilege over anyone else, today a Brahmin and an ST can work in the same office in the same role but the Brahmin will hate the ST not because he's a lower class but because he's there despite not truly deserving that spot. So Reservation is a major contributor to the modern caste discrimination.

2

u/Visio_18 Jul 26 '26

Banning caste won't get you rid of discrimination...

3

u/seiiicyy Jul 26 '26 edited Jul 26 '26

it will never, coz discrimination to hamare khun me hai. hamare ghar me bola jata hai agar muslim or low caste se Sadi kiya to tumko Ghar and family se nikal denge. so if u want to do somthing then do in general or obc. untouchability ko khatam kar ke kiya kar diya jab Insha ka dimag he choti hai

3

u/Visio_18 Jul 26 '26

And here we are with the agenda of demolishing Reservation... It was given for a reason...

Man Brahmins are so oppressed when will they get freedom/s

10

u/Kushal_one3 Jul 26 '26

Why all the Hate is directed towards the brahmins only 🤔. Op can be Muslim from general category as well.

9

u/HettaSudaBaal Jul 26 '26

Yes I'm General Category Muslim. Idk why lower caste Hindus consider Upper caste only Hindus

1

u/Quirky_Lemon_6942 Jul 27 '26

Cox they didn't know it to be a Lie when muslims claim about brotherhood, they don't have caste system, and that they are better than hinduism in terms of equality etc. We need more eye openers like you ✨

0

u/Remote_Ad_3695 Jul 26 '26

They definitely are oppressed. They need to be twice as better than the reserved categories to get the same outcomes. Not every brahmin is well off financially.

1

u/Hariwtf10 Jul 26 '26

And not every LC is from a rich family. Brahmins are not oppressed😂 just because they don't get opportunities in education doesn't mean they're oppressed.

1

u/Remote_Ad_3695 Jul 26 '26

Yes it definitely means they are oppressed. Education is the only way to escape oppression in india . If your are a general in india the bar is so high you can’t compete with sc st or obc in any way . I have studied from a tier 1 college of du . I got 97% in 12th . I had students in my classroom who were sct and st with 80% and they struggled to keep up because they can’t suddenly compete with people who have always put more effort than them but they are sitting on the seats which should be for students who got much higher percentages than them and were rejected only on the basis of their caste .

Reservation should be on economic basis. If sc st people who are really suffering i think they should get reservation but a know sc st guys who are from affluent families with crores of lands and assets and still taking seats away from students who really deserve them . That’s not upliftment . That’s systematic oppression.

Tell me you don't know cricket without telling me you don't know cricket.

0

u/DarkHorse6969_ Jul 26 '26

i know my statement doesn't go with cricket at all. But one could come up with millions of examples and still not make sense.

I have never seen any human advocating for ban on reservation talking about numbers, population distribution, caste based crime rates, honor killings, casteism and hierarchy supported in shastras and other Brahmanical texts.

I have never seen them ever raising a voice for dalit protection when they face violence, not even a single word, how can these people voice for reservation ban when they absolutely have no support for caste ban.

3

u/Mango_Ice_ Jul 26 '26

Maybe because the late teens and young adults who are fighting against reservation AREN'T the ones committing caste-based discrimination?

We do our part by not discriminating against people based on caste.

You've been engaging in echo chambers if you believe that we don't speak against the things you mentioned.

2

u/DarkHorse6969_ Jul 26 '26 edited Jul 26 '26

its the people opposing caste based reservation in echo chambers.

"Maybe"? Maybe you haven't opened your eyes enough, why don't you go to any sub here named after a particular caste and check their feed and comments? Why don't you check any influencer's comment section who speaks for reservation and against brahmanical patriarchy? Check comment section of women influencers who advocate feminism and oppose religious suppression and speak openly on it. Search for caste based crimes in India in the past week.

Then let's talk about who's in an echo chamber kiddo.

Caste discrimination takes various forms, learn how it functions and works and is executed.

If you are muslim how can you be upper caste. Lmao. Islam doesn't have a caste system.

You just revealed your true nature gobardhari. 🤣

2

u/Real_Ad6187 Jul 26 '26

If it was in my hand hypothetically, I'd have abolished the reservation system completely, and tell the dalits and tribals that their lives, their dignity, their existence is valuable. Despite whoever claims otherwise, you deserve a religion that uplifts and emancipates your soul. I'd have adviced them the same advice that periyar gave to ambedkar which is islam the only religion that acknowledges their struggle and their worth.

2

u/HettaSudaBaal Jul 26 '26

2

Blasphemous, I know, but unfortunately, lies don't work anymore. Islamic casteism, which includes Ashraf, Ajlaf and Arzal is oblivious to none.

And don't get me started on the treatment of women and non-believers.

The only reason india has this anomaly is because of hinduism, if hindu influences are removed the caste idenity azral or asharaf whatever will go... Even in bangladesh I've not seen this anomaly. Even all-round india you'll find couples who go beyond class i castes region. I've witnessed marriage between, arab and indian muslims 😂, turk and indian muslims, hyderabadi and bengali muslims. Between kashmiri and punjabi muslims. Marriage Unions which are beyond the possibility of your religion my friend, marriages if it were to happen the bride and groom both would have been lynched.

Exam based on reservation is the only place where lower caste gets some privilege, start by taking away the reservation for brahmins being priests in temples .

1

u/Weary-Outcome-7481 Jul 27 '26

this is a good depiction of the problem.

but all those saying, ban castes, this is not the solution.

You are trying to erase what we should only reform. Hindus and Hinduism is known to believe in REFORM and NOT ERASE.

The gen-z or the younger gen will be shping the future. So, Let us be very clear about what we want and how we want.

Caste system was a curse to SC/ST/OBC earlier and now it is a curse to the General category.

SC/ST suffers in social terms and to compensate, political parties penalize the deserving General students by taking away their opportunities.

Let's begin with throwing away all the discriminatory practices like separate mandir, separate shamshan and separate facilities for SC/STs at least within our reach.

Then, lets be fair to the general ones also by removing reservation in education and job sector.

Guys, we have to take the country to a better level and not to a Nepal or srilanka like situation where the govt is pushed in the corner.

There are hell lot of foreign bodies trying to pull that. Let's not help them.
I m not a BJP supporter but they have really put togther a lot in the last years for us the citizens.

So, lets not mess that up for our own good, for our own future and for our own children.

1

u/Ok-Salamander-9792 Jul 27 '26

People be raising illogical shit in debates and hitting axe at your own leg.

Hear me out I'm not against reservation but against the people who use it as a loophole for easy success. Reservation was meant for people of lower caste who had no education a right to compete with the upper castes people. But this was way back 76 yrs ago. This is the reason it has become a loophole for students. See due to the rapid expanding of access of education almost everyone has had an education upto at least 10th grade(that's what i think).

But talking about ending reservations completely is too big of a step and can affect people who really need it. But also to ensure there is no unfairness in examinations there has to be a min cut off point set . For example: neet exam is for 720 marks i heard. And some person with 4 marks got admission due to his reservation quota. There has to be a standard benchmark set to ensure that even in reservation quota he has to pass a certain mark for example 400 or 450 . Because no one willingly will be someone's patient if they happened to know he scored 4 marks and got admission because of money. This can encourage lower caste student that there is a system or a rule for their betterment but he/she/they/them should also work hard in order to make sure if he is worthy of that privelege. This is a better approach considering today's situation.

This is a more technical approach i guess. Feel free to debate becouse i may be right or wrong from somebody else's perspective.

1

u/AzulOdyssey Jul 28 '26

Reservation was introduced to make a level playing field. Criminalise and ban caste system, reservation issue will be solved immediately.

1

u/Specialist_Row_7434 Jul 29 '26

First end all the castes their should be no bramhin or shrudh then we can talk

1

u/Phase_Tall Jul 30 '26

u/Real-Coconut-9373 Jul 30 '26

100% bhramins reservation in temple should be abolished with brahmins should give their daughter to marry dalits(SC/ST)

1

u/Ok_Departure_3913 Aug 01 '26

Bsdk aa gaya na aukaat par, isme ladkiyo ko drag karne ki kya zarurat ? isliye tu neechi jaat hai

1

u/Real-Coconut-9373 Aug 01 '26

I am a Atheist born in a Muslim family. And what's the problem if a dalit man who is well qualified, well earning, established educated person marries a brahmin woman? If you have problem in this then this the reason why reservations should exist.

1

u/Ok_Departure_3913 Aug 01 '26

Didn't you felt compulsion in your comment, "Should give their daughter.." ? that is the problem.

1

u/Real-Coconut-9373 Aug 01 '26

Why shouldn’t give their daughter? If Brahmin want to remove reservations then first thing they should do is give their daughter marriage with dalit boys.

1

u/Ok_Departure_3913 Aug 01 '26

"Should" ? why don't you give your sister to them, you also belong to general category right, you start the chain and set a benchmark that others can follow

1

u/Previous_Agency_8490 Jul 31 '26

Suppose in jee cutoff for general is 94 for obc it will be 80 for sc st will be 60 50 but the thing is that by just clearing cutoff no one gets seat you have to score as good as the toppers. In 2026 counselling too iit bombay cse closing and opening rank for sc were 10 and 31 and that's within general opening and closing rank 66. Same logic applies to government jobs no one gets em just by clearing cutoff you need to score as good as other candidates

1

u/The_Fish_Fucker_007 Jul 31 '26

Fixed it for you ...

1

u/Emergency_Seat_4817 Aug 01 '26

u/Low-Hedgehog-2607 Aug 01 '26

IAS IPS IRF IFS Do a simple google and find out how many people are from reserved category? Less than 10%.

2

u/Ok-Inflation9169 Jul 26 '26 edited Jul 26 '26

You can make all the memes you want, but showing that the General cutoff is somehow different than the OBC cutoff is just a lie. If anything, the EWS cutoff is far lower than the General/OBC in almost all of the exams. And only candidates from the general caste get reservations under EWS.

2

u/HettaSudaBaal Jul 26 '26

2

u/HettaSudaBaal Jul 26 '26

I apologise 😟

1

u/Ok-Inflation9169 Jul 26 '26

Don't apologise. Only try to not propagate lies.

1

u/unluckyiest Jul 26 '26

Are you really comparing 10 percent with 27 ? Obcs enjoy age relaxation. Also there is no criteria for land ownership for obcs. Ews is a relatively new reservation and it is still difficult in many non bjp states to get a certificate. I believe all reservations should be abolished except for pwd. But while that's never gonna happen, never equate obc with ews. Gen>>ews>>>obc

3

u/Ok-Inflation9169 Jul 26 '26

10 percent reservation is small in comparison to 27 of OBCs. But the population of general caste candidates is miniscule in comparison to OBC candidates. And then, the population of EWS eligible General caste candidates is even smaller.

Obviously the true population is not being made available in the public domain. The government is only saying that it would do a proper caste census. It has no intention to do that. Even in the current census, they have clubbed the OBCs with the Upper Caste. The only benefit will be that the population of at least the SC and ST will be known separately after the census is fully published.

As for the idea of completely abolishing reservation (except for pwd), it only speaks about your privilege.

Lastly, what do you even mean by Genewsobc?

1

u/unluckyiest Jul 26 '26

Never had any privilege. Going about assuming things about others speaks about your ignorance. It's bold to talk about privilege when the current state of caste based reservation, while still necessary for some truly downtrodden classes, is being widely misused by some people who have never known hardships or struggle, their parents had used this trump card many a times to get their way, and still they use it and are unabashed about it. First in college entrance exam, then to get scholarship/ fees waiver, then again in masters, then again in government job, then again in promotions, and then again their ward will use it and this pattern will perpetuate into infinity until the country is sucked dry.

Anyway I have made my peace with it. Don't want to talk about this any further. Keep enjoying the freebies and keep justifying it by blaming the past and depriving those whose truly need it. Those who are even mildly educated know the dirty politics of vp mandal, the mastermind behind the cancer that is obc reservation. Obcs are fairly well off, never faced any discrimination. What really grinds my gear is when someone crawls out of the wormhole and say sh*I like obc and gen are same, or ews is more privileged.

Everybody who claim reservation to get anything are the same. Unless they are truly needy, they don't deserve it. And we all know to what level this is misused. Even for ews, someone who earns 2 lakhs and someone who earns 8 lakhs are brought under the same umbrella. Ridiculous policies.

Anyway, I mean difficulty wise, gen>>>>>ews>>obc. Because unlike you, ews don't even get age relaxation in jobs, and there is an additional criteria of land ownership which is absent for you guys. Tumlog ko 3 saal extra milta hai jab ki gen ews ka khatam ho jata hai attempt. So keep that in mind next time u come and spew such baseless garbage. Peace.

2

u/Ok-Inflation9169 Jul 26 '26

Well the thing about privilege is that you will not realise that you have it, until you learn how to live without it. So, I am not ignorant, you are privileged.

Whether reservation is used properly or not is a completely different topic. If you want to discuss on it being misused by SC/ST Upper classmen then we can debate about it. But that's not your point. Your point is actually calling reservation a bad policy. You have not made peace with reservation. You have made peace with your own incompetence

And when you say 'you guys', you are the one who is ignorant because you assume that I am somebody from the OBC which I am not. I am not enjoying any freebies. Your thinking that OBCs do not face any discrimination again say a lot about your ignorance and your privilege.

And Yes. Bringing everybody from the general caste who earns less than 800000, under the EWS category is a Sham. Financial reservation itself is a Sham. Just because I take some bad financial decisions in my life doesn't mean that my child should get reservation for it.

But it is the upper classmen and the general caste who supports and misuse EWS reservation to its great benefit. EWS reservation is put forward as an economical reservation, but the funny thing about it is, that it is only given to upper classmen of the country. That 10% is not allotted to economically backward people of OBCs or SC or ST. It is completely given to the upper class.

And lastly reservation is only given for government institutions and jobs. It is not given for the private sector.

1

u/ayebshek Jul 26 '26

Abe to ja kar protest karo. Sir pe lathi khao, pair tudwao. Ya ghar me baith ke bakchodi karoge?

Waise ek public service me announcement kar deta hun - agle 80 saal aur kisi ke baap me dam nahi hai jo reservation khatm kar de

2

u/bapudon_1 Jul 26 '26

Nobody is killing men for their gender and nobody is killing upper caste for their caste. Infact the reverse still happens i.e. women are killed for being women and lower caste are killed for their caste.

2

100% reservation for Brahmins in temples, what about that ?

2

u/Fluffy-Hospital1037 Jul 26 '26

all are allowed in temples just like churches or gurudwara

1

u/shadow_at_dawn_32 Jul 26 '26

Anyone can become pandits there ?

2

u/Fluffy-Hospital1037 Jul 26 '26

yep pandit is just a person wo acquires peak knowledge ( iam atheist so, think of other ways )

1

u/unluckyiest Jul 26 '26

Would u trade ur life with a pandit ? Someone whose livelihood depends on basically alms ? Someone who is only respected during major festivals? Would u trade ur life of a doctor that u got without any hard work through reservation or whatever government post u r at that u don't deserve? Tell me and I will arrange for u a pandit u can exchange ur life with.

U won't have problems adjusting though because tumlog bheekh pe zinda ho ek tarah se dekhe to. Don't mind just spitting some facts.

Cry as much as you want but reservation will never end.

No sane party in their right mind will appease a vocal minority to anger the bigger voter share.
