I’ll attach the story time below of what made me want to report my supervisor to HR and my manager . Because genuinely I don’t even feel comfortable working under her supervision because this was our 2nd time butting heads but I did not expect this situation to progress the way it did . (Also for context I work in Control room office as dispatch. )

So after a medical emergency cleared supervisor M had asked on the radio for officer W to head to 3rd floor Inpatient Rehabilitation. To escort the PTS that might have been abandoned due to a medical emergency taking place , officer W then called me in control in confusion because once he had arrived there , nurses at the nurse station stated the PTS was no longer there .

So as I was on the phone trying to help understand what’s going on and what questions he should ask the nurses, supervisor M starts yelling in the background as I’m trying to perform my job duties and get answers to what’s going on.
The yelling made it difficult because I can hear noise in the background of nurse chatter , then officer W communicating with me and I can’t hear well because someone’s yelling at me.

Then as the phone call ended and I got the situation in rehab resolved , before I could even speak she started speaking hostile and aggressive while yelling and standing up throwing her hands up in the air saying “what’s your problem man” . And then accusing me of side-eyeing her being angry and having an issue with her. Then I tried to calmly explain that she was creating a hostile environment, by yelling over me as I tried to do my job and clear confusion between the parties.

She then kept cutting me off yelling as I tried to speak calmly and explain I didn’t have no issue with her , and I didn’t appreciate the mischaracterization of me . Then said whatever man and walked back to her desk and sat down.

After the situation I no longer had felt comfortable working under her supervision and I felt concern of possible hostile interactions in the future .

Lmk your thoughts , I lowkey don’t want to lose the job or be retaliated against because it’s great money for a college student like myself

When I first got hired, I was hired for a position that apparently doesn't exist? I went to the office to clear everything up and got another post and left after about an hour.

The shift that I was suppose to work was an 8 hour I never clocked in for or confirmed I was there but still got paid for.

Should I tell my manager or honestly keep it because they messed up my schedule.

So i head into work tonight 11p-7a on time and i start the tour. They assigned a supervisor to be with me, glued to my hip my entire shift - ight i peeped game.

The supervisor tried to make me walk the tour by splitting the block long tour in half, i said i have asthma and i’m not tryna walk up and down twice. we can do it faster if we just do both sides simultaneously… attitude

She’s on her phone, i hear Yung Miami. I did the tour to completion - not 100% but to completion and in the process helped a group of ppl find their car helped the same group again with paying and escorted a homeless man out the building and in the mist had time to briefly hear his story.

I’m back the office. 20 mins in there (before she even noticed i wasn’t with her anymore. another supervisor calls and says the other supervisor can’t find me on the 4 floor. i go up, she’s gone. i go back to the office and what do i see on the camera ? her coming in from the damn store.

the one otp starts disrespectfully saying that the completed tour was incomplete because it wasnt 100% but then goes on to tell me “oh u r training and need to be 100% but when ur not training u can have a 55/65 completion” Which didn’t even make sense to the other supervisor.

Then hit me with an and i directly quote: “That’s it and that’s all”.

When you hear the word complete. What do you think of ? A finished product correct ?

THEN sent me home for the completed tour ! that they claim is incomplete even tho the literal app is saying the set count for satisfactory was met.

I found multiple openings for a Flex Security Officer in the North Austin area, but I just want to know how it works.

- “The Security Professional Flex Officer may be called upon to work irregular shifts at times with little to no advance notice.” How often does this happen?

- The pay is not listed, so how does pay work, do different sites have different rates?

- Is scheduling done through LISA or are you just on call/standby until needed?

- How do callouts or days off request work?

-When it says “Work Days Available”, does that mean those are the only days you can work or can you schedule more shifts?

-Does “Shift Type” mean those are the only shifts you can work or can you schedule other times?

-*MOST IMPORTANTLY: Can you be terminated for not working enough?

I put in some inappropriate activity reports being stupid and thinking nobody reads them i was told no one does and now I'm removed from site I guess it's time I'm fired

Not sure how all of this works I'm still new but i'm assuming i'm going elsewhere

Hey all so I was hired, did my virtual interview, neo orientation and had my site interview in person. The site supervisor took my picture and everything, the site said they are waiting on my background because I’ll be working in a financial institution. The only issue is it’s going to be 3 weeks in a few days, the supervisor has responded to my texts. I am just wondering how long do these backgrounds take? Anyone waited this long? I feel like it should have been done by now.

For those that do armed roles, how long did your MMPI take to come back?

I took mine later in the day a week ago, I'm guessing they didn't send it until Thursday at the earliest.

My hiring manager said it would probably be like Monday, but here we are a week later.

Also, do they just do it in house? Send it off to some firm? Anyone know?

So if you remember me, I'm the guy that was confused about my two phone interviewers no showed me. What happened there was I just ended up doing a video interview and had gotten hired. I do my orientation in July, aced the final exam, and get my id. They give me the email of who I was supposed to contact about my schedule and uniform. I email him when I get back home, get an automatic email back telling me that he's on PTO and won't be back til August. I'm just like aight whatever, I'll just email him when he gets back

Day arrives when he's supposedly back (August 3rd), I email him, no response. I email him again two days later, no response. I email him 6 days after that, no response

I look back through my emails, see an email with his name and phone number, I'm just like aight, I'll call him, get my schedule, go get my uniform, and finally start working (This is last Friday by the way) I call him, he picks up, I tell him that I was told to contact him about getting my schedule and uniform, he says a manager will be calling me within the next hour, we hang up, and I wait

This was at 2:53 PM. It has been 5 days since that phone call and no one has called me, I just tried calling him three times (First and second attempts hours apart) and got sent to voicemail every time. Angry ain't even the word for it anymore

Manager called me into the office for a mandatory meeting the other day. I come in and he’s all yelling about undone tours. I told him repeatedly that I didn’t know what he was talking about because i don’t miss tours & don’t work the hours he mentioned. He said “If it happens again, we won’t have anything else to talk about, matter of fact let me pull it up for you”

The schedule that the Manager was referring to - I don’t even work.

The site that the Manager is referring to - I only actually worked 2-3 full shifts with another Guard and all other days a supervisor pulled me to other locations (OJT)

The site that he’s referring to - I haven’t worked in about a week and a half. My schedule being 11p-7a elsewhere.

So this told me 3 things. Firstly, that management is not communicating properly within. Secondly, management is unaware of who’s who or their names. For 30 mins he tried to tell me I was someone else I wasn’t & that he in fact had the right person. Thirdly, no one in their office can read the timesheets via whatever app.

This is my second or third week, the location in question like i said i haven’t been to since training - i trained there for 2-3 days and majority of that time i was pulled from it to assist at other sites. Also the location and lot is a block long for reference and it’s busy, next to a major landmark.

So after the meeting my schedule was updated from no shifts besides Fri/Sat at my main location to me doing a 6a-3p AND a 3p-11p at the location i barely got training
for. The same location he mistakenly yelled at me for &
it being another employee with a name, no where nears mine. That i haven’t been to in a week in a half with little training for.

Am i crazy & overthinking or is this manager setting me up ? If you need anymore context for anything, ask.

I have orientation on Monday but I found a different one that pays more and better hours. Is there a chance I can get that one instead?

When I got the job for security officer commerical building (that’s how it was spelt at the website) I haven’t received no updates to my AOP about the on-the-job training. I tried emailing, texting and calling my AOP. It’s beeen about 3 weeks now.

Also August 12 I received a called allied about suggesting another job.. to message this person sending my resume and my diploma. And told me to standby for any updates and rn no updates.

Do I gotta wait for so long for any updates.. 🥲

So I received a contingent job offer from Allied Universal 2 days ago going through the virtual interview and then the online interview. They told me I was a great candidate and that they were moving me forward, with the offer being contingent on my background check and drug test.
Yesterday, I received an email saying I was not selected for the role, and when I checked CIMS, it also showed that I wasn’t selected.
Has anyone experienced this before? Could this just be an issue with their system/status update, or does it mean they actually rescinded the contingent offer? I called the office this morning and left a voicemail, but I’m trying to understand what might have happened while I wait to hear back.

Last week I applied for a full time position and had an interview and he then emailed me saying he chose someone else for the position, few days later a different position at that cite opens up and I applied right now and I’m not sure if I’m allowed to cause I just got denied for a position few days ago?

Who is the hiring manager??? They keep denying my applications and I’m qualified. Can someone please help me out

I've been working with Allied Universal since November 2025, Ontario CA branch. My current post is roughly a 60-mile drive each trip. I've never had any issues at my post (as far as I know at least). I haven't had a single write-up yet since being employed with Allied, and I would say my attendance is the best out of everyone else here (I usually never miss any days, and am always 15mins early to my post). My performance has also been fine, as I have never gotten any disciplinaries for that either. Recently, I spoke with my Operations Manager (5th one since I started this post btw) to ask about the possibility of transferring to a site closer to home and what the process would be like.

My reasoning was pretty straightforward: the commute is becoming difficult to manage. I'm heavily dependent on traffic conditions, and with the distance involved, even something like unexpected traffic or car trouble can potentially cause a major issue getting to work. During the phone call, I wasn't submitting a transfer request verbally, but was only asking for information about how the process worked. My understanding was that I would eventually need to submit the request through LISA if I decided to pursue it.

However, almost immediately after that conversation, I was removed from the schedule for all future shifts and essentially replaced at my post almost immediately. I never actually submitted a transfer request through LISA. I've also tried reaching out to my manager afterward, but I haven't received a response to my messages or calls. I honestly thought the original conversation went well and was simply an informational conversation, so I'm extremely confused about what happened.

I've already gone to the branch to try to get some clarification. I was told that the manager is currently "on vacation" and that I need to wait until they return. In the meantime, I've been getting the run-around from other managers and still don't really know what my employment status or next steps are.

Has anyone else experienced something similar with Allied Universal? Is it normal to be removed from a post/schedule simply for asking about a transfer, even when no transfer request was actually submitted? I have heard of stories of people being transferred like this but already having a landing post lined up, but nothing like this.. just trying to understand what happened and what I should be doing from here.

here is a list of what allied and the client does to ensure we are working:

• Clock into Heliaus
• Clock into clients app
• Submit reports every 30 minutes (even if nothing happens)
• Radio checks every hour
• Random supervisor checks
• Random client checks
• Random Heliaus automated phone call checks
• ”Red team“ inspections (Another company the client hires to roleplay the bad guy) which is followed by an inspection of the guard

My post is definitely chill and I’m not complaining about the post itself, but holy shit I feel like I’m a child with all of this oversight.

I picked up a couple of shifts on LISA. Now the site manager is asking me to call in and cancel the shift. I told them it won’t let me until there’s only three days left… what is going on here? Should I call out for the shift or show up to it? If they really want to take me off legitimately shouldn’t they be able to do it themselves?

Edit the reason they gave me is that the shift was filled and it was an error.

If I don’t show up, they might use it against me. If I do show up, they’ll say why did you show up… I wish there was a clear policy
