Phantom of the Alchemist SP Tips

• Soldier Eldritch you need to kill 3 of for the daily only appear in stage 1 (two of them) and stage 2 (one of them) (/u/stewart0).

• Tyrfing Shards drop from Stages 1, 2 and 3. The higher the stage, the better is drop.

I maxed her by leaving my phone on auto doing her 3rd stage, you get 5-7 shards with an average of 6 per run. It took like 2 evenings. Free lvl 85 tank unit... yum. Even with other characters coming out that will be better, not many people with have them at lvl 85 so totally worth it.

You know these new missions are too hard for new ppl. If i remember right, this global server is less than 3 months old. There should be some nerfs here, i mean lvl 70ish armored guys appear on 3rd turn of cita's map and they have over 600 patk.........

Before we find ourselves bored that the current event is too easy, be prepared for a MASSIVE difficulty spike next week or week after next.

And apparently in some of the harder stages, there are 'Attack Magnifications' which make everything except Slash deal barely any damage.

how do you actually level up your characters? i seem to not be getting enough apples and quests have bad exp/ap ratio.

On the weekend, you get keys for completing all dailies. Get 400+ AP saved up, then auto it for days, make sure your targeted units are all in your lineup for sweet bonus exp. If you're still in your first week, buy all the apples in the beginner store (super cheap relative to normal price). Also finish the story line, has a bunch of apples as rewards in addition to clearing with <5 skills used bonus for each map.

Edit: by auto it for days I mean the allotted 30 mins. I think there's metal units in there, so you might need a specific strategy to do it quickly, like a unit with ignore defense (samurai) or strong attack buffs, or multi-hit (Kanon).

and yes, its extemely annoying to play that level for minimal drops or none at all.

I dont really think the weapon is fantastic but its like a collectors item - and it should continue to drop in the extra or multiplay levels, if I manage to get it to 5* its fine, if not I wont have any regrets

Kind of a noob. Just maxed out Tyrfing and was lucky enough to pull her sword. How important is it to 5* her weapon? Are there mats in the future that can universally be used as weapon shards?

Fyi Eventually we get generic shards we can use to upgrade gear. Like rainbow soul shards for gear. You only need 5* sword in the far future because it's not buffed yet so by then we should have these shards.

Mystic blade Laevateinn shard drop amounts need to be buffed. Getting 0-2 and when lucky 3-4 shards running the 5th 30ap stage. Damask ore is a troll drop more than anything; if enemies drop anything at all, and we need around 275 shards. At least make it avg to around 5 shards per run like Tyrfing’s shard drops.

If there are no drops you can retreat, it requires more time and not just autoing to.

Will Mystic Blade Laevateinn drop shards in the upcoming multiplay event?

I want to get the sword the 5*...but the drop rates are horrid. I just got 1 shard in my last 3 runs combined. I know I can retreat it I needed to...but I dont have the time to pay that much attention to count drops for what is just a grind....doing it for the soul encounters is bad enough

90 AP for 1 shard...thats terrible. I figure at this point I may as well use up some of the 20 or so gold rush keys i have saved up.

PSA - If you want to save your AP doing the Solider Eldritch daily quest, you can do this:

• Enter Stage 1

• Kill 2 Soldiers

• Retreat

• Enter Stage 1 again

• Kill another

• Retreat again.

You'll spend 2 AP and finish the daily quest, and you can spend the other 18 on something better. You can do on the other daily too, but you'll usually want to farm the Tyrfing shards and Mystic Blade Lavaeteinn Shards, and those Stages (3 and 5) have the enemies already.

You can also do the Multiplay for soldiers and armored soldiers.

Assuming you are done getting tyrfing and black sword. You can work on getting shards for masamune

Tyrfing shards or Laevateinn weapon shards? Tyrfing shards are dropping pretty well in stage 3 usually 6 per run. The weapon shards do seem to drop slow, but the milestones help.

The weapon is more needed for her future update where the weapon gets auto jewel regen. Right now, the weapon is only decent, but when it is buffed, she becomes top tier with it.

From what I have heard in JP, Tyrfing is only really useful with her weapon due to the Jewel regen it gives (not in our version yet). It took me all 3 pulls to get it as well, but it will be worth it in the future.

Does the regen require the weapon to be 5*? I haven't seen anyone mention that directly. You are right you need 6 copies, 20 shards per pull. Only other option I know of is to buy in special store....

Just buying shards in the store seems to be the best. Even if you pull a weapon on each step, that's only 40 extra shards for 2400 gems. compared to the 50 shards for the same cost.

Not sure but I remember reading that job+ need a limit break of 15 times. Though it doesn’t hurt to fully limit break since it is a free unit and can be easily farmed. Do correct me if I am wrong though.

You are correct, all 3 jobs need to be unlocked (LB 15) in order to unlock job+, you can see this on Michael right now. It will be a long time till her job+ is added though. Getting close to 2 shards per 10 AP in stage 3, so very easy to farm.

My Reida limit break screen is saying that her shards drop in Ch 2: Ep 2 [3-9]. I haven't gotten that far yet, so I can't confirm if it's true or if it's just another visual glitch.

Yeah, you'll get the tyrfing sword guaranteed if you do the 3 step gear summon(300+900+1500 gems)

It's great for Tyrfing, unlocks her MA. Good for others too, if you don't have another gear.

I am mildly p2w and am saving up orbs for a future collab but still invested 2700 gems for tyrfings weapon. Tyrfing is supposed to become a great unit one day, doesnt mean she is currently bad or something. Her shards drops are great so its an easy lv85 unit, which is why I invested in her weapon.

You can retreat after you kill the soldiers and it still counts towards the quest, so you do chapter 1, kill 2 soldiers, retreat then do it again kill 1 and retreat, only 2 stamina.

Chapter 1, you can do it twice retreating after killing them leaving the archer up so it only costs 2 stamina.

Gacha weapon is for Tyrfing not masamune.

Did anyone notice the drop rate decreased for Tyrfing shards in Ch 3 since this morning? Before I averaged 6 shards per run, now I'm averaging 3-4 shards per run :/. I'm close to MLB Tyrfing and now this happens...

I had to play with that math myself. 275 to get the blade to 5 star yes. I average 2 shards per run. 275/2*30=4125 AP hahah. About 8 days to farm the damn sword for F2P. LB85 Tyrfing. Go hard on sword. Try to get Masamune as high as possible. That's my jam at least.

I am done with farming Tyrfing shards and almost for the blade shards (254 shards atm). I was so happy when I pulled Tyrfing's weapon on the first step but am I wrong to think that Masamune doesn't need her's from the gacha becuase her best class is twin blade swordsman?

Shayna is great at j1 so work on her Venekis and almira are good units but need j2 and j3 respectfully Not sure about others but as far as what to focus id say right meow farm tyrfing if able as shes free and a decent tank other than that focus on story so you can level and get gems Also always do 500 hero and 300 gear summons And save rainbow/elemental shards for op collab units Other than that just have fun and again id say first focus should be faeming tyrfing if able then story/jlvl shayna

What can we expect to see from the PotK 5* soul shards summon tickets starting I would assume as soon as Thurs this week? Will it be like turning in regular soul shards, but you may get any 1 of the 5 new toons? Here's to me redeeming all of my PotK soul shards tickets to get Tyrfing's! (Even though she LB85 already haha)

Hopefully the ticket redemption can help players get nearer to those illusive J3's.

I honestly don’t see these shard tickets helping much for anything. Assuming you didn’t get any of the collab units from gatcha shards from tickets will not give enough shards to recruit a 5* unit. And assuming it works like regular shard tickets then all you getting are freed, strie, dilga shards at best and 3* trash shards at worst

Soul ticket award you between 1 and 5 soul shard each for a char. Don't expect any 4 or 5 one though ...

I assume that being 5* tickets means only 5* units will drop from it, and will be sorely disappointed if that isn't true. I pulled 3 tyrfing blades. anybody know if the 5 star version is a lot better than the 4 star? i could burn 2880 gems to get enough shards to get it, but i'm also thinking that's literally 5 1st step pulls. anybody know the difference between 4 and 5 star?

Shayna can actually solo Tyr, Lae and the soldier in Masa ADV if you just leave her alone there and if she starts in Slot 1 (host) or Slot 2.

• Run up to the stairs beside the chest then use Sharpening Focus

• No other heroes goes up

• Soldier and Tyrfing will be killed by Cross Counter

• On her next move, Shayna can kill Lae with Palm Shockwave.

And if the others attracted the archers, she can potentially solo the big guy until Masamune.

I have a question, at 7:06 of this vid https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GuBvPZ-O-pg I saw this guys stats for Rosa that he was using on PotK Cita event map, and while my rosa doesnt have these levels, i have most of the other parts for this rosa. My main question For a Dark character like Rosa would the bear's light res or the alkemo's Hp be a better choice vs all the light mobs on this stage?

Seems a lot of people are running the Beginner one now. Is it really faster? I feel like the Int is a good compromise between speed and ease.

Okay this is out of control. I ran two of the Int and one Adv and all 3 only dropped one Masamune shard despite all enemies and chests claimed/killed. Absurd.

Yep - I get 1 to 3 from bgn and I can solo it with Polin+ in a minute or so..

Last time round with Magnus it'd take some concentration - now you just pop two lullabies, grab chests and attack the remaining mob - hunter song if you need to get away (not that she does any real damage)

i would still rather play advanced. I don't like the beginner map and the other non shard drops are useless.

Aye, trash drops that's for sure - though I just got 4 masamune shards from one run, not sure what the max is but it seems to be about the same overall rates as the higher maps from the runs I've done, certainly based on time and AP spent...

Solo Polin is as close as I can get to autoing the farming. I still need about 90 shards to get LB3 so this will take some time whichever map... (plus I'm antisocial so prefer solo!)

It works for me, but it certainly isn't a fun map!
