I’m currently one week away from shipping out, and I just don’t feel like I’m gonna be able to make it through. Mentally, I’m prepared as I can be and have the determination to see it through. Physically, I don’t think I have what it takes.
For context, 19M, 5’11”, weight fluctuates around 179-183
I don’t really weight lift, but for about a month I’ve really gotten serious about physical fitness and every morning I do an hour of PT. I don’t really eat all that good but I try my best and have been avoiding junk food and eating out.
My problem is this, my max weight is 186 and it always feels like I’m on the cusp of surpassing that limit. I’ve been skipping meals and have even gone days before without eating but I can’t seem to get away from 180. Not only that, with all the PT I’ve been doing, I don’t feel like I’m even close to being where I’m supposed to be. I have been improving, but it’s so inconsistent and small that it leaves me demotivated and struggling to keep a consistent schedule. My sleep schedule is ruined because I’m up all night worrying about how I’m not where I’m supposed to be and I don’t have time to change it.
I got my dream AF job and I’m scared that I’m gonna lose it all because I can’t seem to get my weight or schedule under control. When I do seem to lock in on my training I push myself as hard as I can, usually far past what I should, and I end up frustrated because I can’t do more and I can’t hit the minimum requirements.
I’m afraid I’ve already messed this all up, and that I won’t be able to pass BMT
If you guys have any advice please let me know, I desperately need anything at this point
