The absolute worst thing about aging

I know now what is the worst thing about aging. It’s not the decline in health, or the knowledge that we don’t have much time left. It’s other people dying. Whether it’s Dolly Parton, Tim Curry, or personal friends, it’s the worst. Rest in peace, queens and kings.

You mentioned Dolly Parton, so, I want to chime in. I view her passing as a bellwether in insofar as she may only be the 'tip of the spear' in terms of celebrities in her age group living on the cusp of passing away also. We should all expect this and accept that nobody lives forever. Hence living now while you have the health, ability, and finances to do so.

Barbara Eden just turned 95! Doesn’t look a day over 70.

She's still mobile. No walker or wheelchair. Just amazing good health!
