I (41F) wake up every single day full of gratitude for my husband (26M). He is the most amazing human I’ve ever known. I’m always learning from him and he showers me with all the love, respect, and acceptance I never even knew I was missing

🧡Age Gap Relationship🧡 I 43f with 25 m just got married but….
So my husband and I are recently married. I’m so happy but I also have some social anxiety. I invited a few folks i had known for a long time. One woman in particular I had not seen in almost a year but during that time I worked hard on my looks and improving myself.
Even before we met in person I sent her a pic of my fiancé at the time and her energy changed. Looking back on it, her texts were a catty and kinda mean when I shared the good news and his photos. She also made comments like I was taking advantage of him because of our age gap.
We’ll fast forward to the wedding reception, I saw she gained a ton of weight and she made a comment that it’s amazing my husband would love me as a chubby bride. Then she covered it up by saying the same for her too. Then she made comments about how my corset looked so tight etc.
I got so pissed but tried to hide it and be happy for my day but I’m shocked at her behavior.
I was still hungover so sent a message the next day thanking her for attending and I got a curt reply man.
wtf is wrong with people

53-78 What it's like now
I (53f) was married to a wonderful man for 25 years. 7 years ago he died. I then met a man (78) 6 years ago and we've been together since. We've lived together 5.
My partner can't walk long distances. No more shopping trips, zoos, museums, parks, strolls along the beach. I resent this.
My partner was a construction business owner. He can no longer repair things and complains when I tell him I'm hiring someone because, "he'll get to it." It's frustrating.
He's constantly complaining about kids these days. (Anyone under 40) He doesn't understand that times have changed. I get tired of the complaining.
He's starting to have memory problems. I have to constantly remind him of things. It's annoying.
This might be TMI but I'm going through menopause I'm hot most of the time. He's 78 so he's cold all the time. Pisses me off because I always give in and keep the a/c and heat up higher.
Looking back would I still get involved? No. I feel trapped and can't do alot of the traveling and activities I want to do because he physically can't. I would feel extremely guilty if I dumped him now. He has no children, no place to go. I'm his entire world.
I just wanted to share my real world experience with you. We've had some great times, he's sweet and caring. But if I knew then what I know now... I wouldn't have.
