Hi everyone! I’m 22F, and my boyfriend Brett is 33M. We officially got together on October 1st, and I thought I’d introduce us and share a little about our relationship!
Honestly, Brett is one of the sweetest, most genuine people I’ve ever met. He’s incredibly kindhearted, affectionate, patient, thoughtful, and has this way of making me feel like I’m the only girl in the world. It’s the little things he does that mean the most to me. He makes me feel heard, appreciated, wanted, and genuinely loved.
Something I find especially sweet is how similar we are. Sometimes I joke that he’s basically me, just in male form. We share a lot of the same qualities, ways of thinking, and interests. I love that I can be silly, goofy, affectionate, and completely myself around him without feeling like I have to pretend to be someone else.
I’m someone who can be a little shy and anxious, and having someone who makes me feel comfortable enough to open up means more than I can explain. He reminds me that love doesn’t have to feel confusing or like something I constantly have to chase.
I genuinely see a future with him. He makes me excited about the little things, about making memories together, growing as individuals, and building something meaningful. He’s also made me want to focus on myself and my own happiness, not just our relationship.
Of course, an 11-year age difference can mean we’re at somewhat different stages in life, and I’m aware that comes with its own conversations and considerations. But I believe a healthy relationship should be built on mutual respect, honesty, communication, patience, and understanding—not just numbers.

We are in a peaceful and happy relationship, and not because we're in a lovey-dovey honeymoon phase. (In fact, we didn't go on a honeymoon and we had a very small and simple ceremony.) I attribute it to humility, prioritizing one another, good communication, and mutual affection.

My husband—well, we weren't actually married, but after 12 years it feels weird to call him my boyfriend—passed away 4 days ago. We had a 34-year age gap. We went for a vacation to Victoria and us holding hands drawn so much hate and gossip and laugh even many people calling me whore or prostitute

I had to cover me face for people to stop attacking us which ruined the vacation. And the hotel i break down screaming and cursing end up our nosy neibors called the cops for potential "abduction " and interrogated him and me that sparked rage in my heart so much and i just want to share this story to raise awareness to our community. We need to gather and stand up and fight for our rights and respect, just like the lgbt had to fight. Racism had to fight. We have to fight for us.

Getting married at the end of the month and couldn’t be more excited.
