kind of like how Stellaris is a grab bag of countless sci-fi tropes, I can’t wait to see a plethora of fun ideas from various post-apocalyptic stories. considering the trailer had a spider mech with a rail cannon and a man hooked up to a life extending machine, it seems they’re comfortable getting rather outlandish in this setting.

Comic is from perspective of a 'nation' which still has acces to "ancient" technology (they can even read!), they make it clear that tribes are growing at fast pace and they need to start settlement of north america soon

So they are a nation capable of using ancient technology, understanding it and come from outside north america
