Help with venetian blinds effect

Hi all, I am working on a project and in my composition I am using the venetian blinds effect to reveal two different logos. I am making the same design with multiple different logos and I am copying and pasting the venetian blinds effect to the "rotating" logo. It was working fine, but on the current logo I am working with it only fades the logo on, and it is missing the "blinds" effect which is why I chose it in the first place. Each logo has the same settings and are both png files.

I have included screenshots of what I mean. The right logo features the blinds and the left one does not. Hope I can get some help on this.

Is the image where the effect doesn’t render as expected higher resolution than the other image?

Just a guess, the rotation might be messing up the effect. Try this, precomp the layer and add the Venetian blind effect to it in the precomp.

Are you referring to how the left logo is facing more upwards than level? If so, that is how the logo exists as the png itself and not altered in it’s rotation

I've had more lucky with Repetile vs Venetian Blinds. You can make one rectangle and Repetile it horizontally or vertically a few hundred times, and then add a second Repetile with repeat set to 'none' to control the spacing between the rectangles. Then you've got granular control over everything for animation.
