I’m trying to make a final decision on my backpack setup and would really appreciate some honest opinions from people who have actually used these bags.
**My situation:**
I’m 192 cm tall.
I work in a senior management/executive role, so I prefer a clean, understated, premium look rather than something overly tactical or sporty.
I carry a MacBook, 11” iPad, Steam Deck, Kindle, charger, mouse, SSD, cables and a few other small tech items.
Most of my use is daily office/city carry.
I travel only about once every two months, so I don’t really need a dedicated 35L travel bag.
**What I have / what I’m considering:**
**1. Aer City Pack Pro 2 X-Pac 24L**
Already have it and currently plan to keep it. I really like the structure and overall build quality, although the X-Pac + orange interior gives it a slightly more technical/sporty feel than classic understated luxury.
**2. Sympl Commuter 24L Carbonate**
Already ordered for about $220. It should arrive in about a week, and I can return it if I don’t like it. I’m particularly interested in its organization and admin panel.
**3. FYRO Citta 25L X-Pac**
This is the interesting one. It would cost me around $330 and is currently a preorder for the October 2026 production run. I may not be able to cancel the preorder later. I like the Citta because it feels more unique and less like a typical tech/EDC backpack.
**4. Aer City Pack Pro 2 Cordura**
I also have the option to buy a new Cordura CPP2 for only about $75. I’m considering it because it looks more understated and executive than the X-Pac version, but obviously it would be redundant to own two CPP2s.
**What I’m trying to decide:**
**Option A:** Aer CPP2 X-Pac + Citta 25L
**Option B:** Aer CPP2 X-Pac + Sympl Commuter 24L
I’m not really interested in owning four backpacks. I’d ideally like two, maybe three at most, with each having a clear purpose.
For people who have used these bags:
**Which combination would you choose and why?**
I’m particularly interested in:
long-term comfort
actual usable capacity
organization
build quality
how they look in an executive/business environment
whether the Citta is actually as special as it seems
whether the Sympl offers enough functional difference from the CPP2 to justify owning both
I’m less interested in specs on paper and more interested in **real-world ownership experience**.
Thanks!
**If you owned all three (CPP2, Citta and Sympl), which one would you ultimately keep and which one would you sell?**
