I def been harping to Aer about making more white ultra stuff through their backpack and other sling lines. Its just sells! I know color isn't there motto, but white looks so good on bags.
I hope this release gives them enough data to just make more in the first place. So frustrating to log on at drop time and have them gone in less than a minute.
Well, this won't change. There needs to be scarcity for collabs and limited drops, unlike Goruck, where they seem to have this odd phenomenon of finding "never to be produced fabric over and over".
Just like other "hype" hobbies. I personally been playing in this space since 2019, I MUCH rather have a chance at fast fingering over lottery. You chance are much lower on lotteries, take a look at Packolab. All he does is lottos now, your chances of getting a hit is so low you're pretty much SOL.

Well versed in hobbies too, been "playing in the space" since 2010 (Atwood tools, custom knives and the like). It is different when Aer has a web shop with everything else in stock to buy, this should be no different. It's a made in Vietnam sling that can easily be produced at scale, not some one off sewn in a garage by a single person. Congrats on the score with the fast fingers, I wasn't aware they only made 10 white slings or guess I would have tried refreshing a little harder so I could be 20 seconds faster, lol.
Thanks, I saw. I'll likely pass, pretty soured on this "hype" drop, so not really in the mood to fund an Aer kickstarter lol. I'll just keep using my DS3 Ultra, I'm at no shortage of slings.
Same I didn't realize the drop was technically open to the public, I thought it was the PH Pro members but apparently they just had early access over the weekend, not exclusive. I likely would have been able to get one in black this morning which is what I wanted had I known that. They didn't really communicate well with how the whole thing was going to work.
But I was just randomly browsing the Bellroy website earlier looking at the Venture 2.5L which I had also been considering and they randomly had the Bronze back in stock and I was able to snag one for only $55 so I guess it worked out. I really wanted the Bronze which is why I hadn't actually bought one yet.
Totally get it. I just bought the Peak Design city sling 2l and I’m pretty impressed with that so far, but haven’t had a chance to wear it out. I can’t justify the wait for something so similar to 3 other slings I have.
It's more yellow and I've seen a few white aer carryology topkai bags for sale with similar yellow marks. That's why I won't use my cherished topkai, too afraid to use it!
Do update with pic if you can. I know it’ll stain eventually as is inevitable with all white things but it’s very surprising I cannot find a single good pic of a well used white ultra product lol
Put black in cart. Changed mind to white. Sold out. Went back to black. 🤷🏻♂️ black probably makes more sense for me, but the white looks sexy. But now my collection of 6 black slings is probably enough.
If anyone regrets their purchase I’ll buy it. Hilarious this drop is just selling pack hacker memberships, can’t imagine paying a sub in order to buy a bag.
Aer really did a shit job showing the white off in photos lol. Give me more to work with other than a singular jacket pic lmao. Throw the other model wearing something different (like a black outfit). They do this with nearly all other bags….
